If you're having a prescription filled do not come here! Waiting over 4 hours for a inhaler prescription... not even pills! Tried calling before I went in but was put on hold for 45 minutes then hung up on. Called about an hour later and same thing I was on hold for 45 minutes and no answer. As I come up to the counter while being on hold, I ask the pharmacist why no one answers and how much longer and she rudely directed me to Drop off where they said the same thing. Highly disappointed. People are sick and don't feel well and having to come get a prescription and wait 4 hours is unacceptable.

For not being very busy it seems it takes a long time to get waited on. I've even tried calling to get info and they don't pick Up the phone. I've seen to or three pharmacist behind the counter And I had to interrupt them to get their attention.

Absolutely outraged regarding this pharmacy - I'd give 0 stars if I could! When I reorder my monthly refills, I allow plenty of time so I don't run out (also allowing more time for Rite Aid mistakes that happen regularly). My refills were requested a week prior (on 8/17 am) to my attempted pickup on 8/24 pm and once the refill was ordered, I was told all my prescriptions would be ready the following morning (8/18 am). On Tuesday, August 24th @ 4:45 pm in the drive through pharmacy line, I encountered to most unprofessional, rude and absolute despicable pharmacy employee by the name of Elizabeth Maartens. So, straight out of your pharmacists mouth (with incredibly rude and unprofessional tone) "I'm sorry your prescriptions aren't and won't be ready. We're several days behind due to administering covid19 vaccines." She had absolutely no problem stating that covid19 vaccines were priority and that daily medications to people who depend on them, were not! After telling me my prescription would not be ready, I questioned why covid19 vaccines were more important than customers getting their monthly needs met? Elizabeth Maartens became enthralled, angry, yelling through the drive thru window microphone at me, telling me "yes, yes". When asked if I still wanted my prescriptions, I said "yes, I need them - I'm almost out!". "I'll be coming inside to get them, waiting 45 mins in line to be turned away is ridiculous". Elizabeth then starts in again "good, you can come inside and wait like everyone else".. (Wait, was I not waiting in a drive through line of 7 cars for 45 mins???) Not to mention 3 of the 7 cars ahead of me in the drive thru line were also turned away due to their prescriptions not being ready. This my people is called "time management", you don't put customers who depend on daily medications on the back burner simply because you can't manage the work load due to increased covid19 vaccines. Since 8/24/21, I have filed a corporate complaint (no resolution and still zero contact) and I have changed pharmacies. I'd also like to note, after 3 weeks of attempting to transfer my prescription (Rite Aid received the request from my new pharmacy, however hasn't processed it yet. hmm, almost out of meds again!), I had to have my doctor write new prescriptions for the new pharmacy. Believe me when I say, they're not for their people, their community or helping their customers. They won't be getting my business.

I have been going to rite aid pharmacy for close to six years now. They will never go above and beyond to help you no matter how long you have been with them! I had surgery on my back they had my pain meds prescription for over a week never said they needed more info until 530pm evening before my surgery, even though I had called AND been in there numerous times to pick up my other prescriptions. Pharmacist told me to calm down lol. Then day of my surgery had nurses and dr from the hospital call still would not fill my pain meds treated me like I did something wrong and that I was pill searching mind u I have never got pain meds before this ever! I will never go back to this pharmacy ever! they do not care about there patients and are not ever willing to go the extra mile to help anyone! pharmacist and staff are very rude and very slow. And just blame the doctors for their mistakes. Really needs to work on patient care. very unhappy with what I thought was my pharmacy but not anymore.

Rite Aid Pharmacy in Anderson CA is a joke. That is not a blanket statement for all the Rite Aid pharmacies, as the one in Corning CA was always helpful and friendly. In Anderson, however, these pharmacy workers are consistently rude and uncooperative. They have routinely prolonged refilling my prescription until 24-36 hours after it's been sent it, which I have overlooked for what's going on two years now, but today I've had enough. I went in for a prescription that I was given a seven day window to fill and by day six they had already returned it to the shelf. When I ask them about this, they hold rx's for 12 days. Right... it's day 6. Well you have to fill it by day 7. Right... it's day 6. Well we are so busy we are returning items to the shelf in the morning instead of night. Okay... but that should have been TOMORROW NOT TODAY. Sorry. You'll have to get a new prescription from the Doctor. Well that's awesome, I need a new RX and a new lab slip while I'm at all, all because that obstinate staff can't count to SEVEN. Rite aid has officially lost my business for good. I will never, ever recommend any locals get their prescriptions filled there. Literally, go anywhere else, I guarantee you'll have a better experience.

I have been trying to get a prescription filled here for a month. The first time they "needed missing information" from my doctor. My doctor assured me everything was sent and resent. Finally after a month of waiting and multiple calls, I learn they just can't get the prescription so I need to call around and find out who can. This is a specific pain medication that I need for chronic migraines and am limited in what I can take due to other health issues. Thanks for leaving me in pain for so long. Now I remember why I left the first time. You did this "delay and waste time" to my small child and left him for two weeks without medication because you forgot to submit a form to the insurance then. Never coming back.

Poor customer service, in the pharmacy. I feel like my privacy was violated. Today when i cam in to get my daughters meds the pharmacist was rude. Couldnt tell me where my daughters med had been filled or who filled it. I was not understanding. She walked away....likr ugh hello? Who does that mid conversation. i called my daughters pediatrician who confirmed it was sent to that pharmacy. And the pharmacist told me to calm down... which i totally was calm and i told her. I am calm im just confused and the receptionists was on the phone heard her an totally defended me. Then this lady had the nerve to raise her voice announce my daughters meds by name and our insurance how we needed to call them....i asked why cant you call the other pharmacy or give me the number. Cancel it an fill it? Finally thats what she does. Ugh!! Then i talked to the store manager but i think i need to talk to the pharmacy manager. This was ridiculous and humiliating.

This review is just for the pharmacy, the rest of the store is great. We have been trying to use the pharmacy because I love the store. Multiple times prescriptions are not ready after you have been told they are, we understand things happen, usually everyone has been helpful and nice and so we kept going. Mistakes do happen and the mistake is not the issue it's how its handled. I dropped a pain med prescription off for my husband, who had just had a knee surgery around 3p on the 24th, she was very nice took my number to call if it was ready earlier otherwise around 630p. Went back around 745p, it took them quite a while to just find it, it was sitting not filled because of some questions for the Dr. with my phone number with it, and no call. At that time I was told the Dr would be called by the pharmacy in the morning. I called the Dr in the morning, the 25th, to have them call the pharmacy, which was done. I called the pharmacy a while later and was told, it has been approved and will be ready in an hour. I get down there on my lunch a couple hours later, all new people from the day before, no prescription, no info about the prescription and a bunch of attitude towards me from a couple ladies, like I am doing something wrong. I had already called and was told it was ready. I can also here a man talking about the note from the night before and almost laughing about it, and not one single apology. There needs to be a lot more communication between shifts, lose the attitude towards the customer, when all I am trying to do is get my husband out of pain on my lunch. Cannot recommend!

I have come here three times to fill my prescription. I have called ahead every single time & they say they will have it ready by say 3pm, I'd come at 3:30/4 and it is still not ready. Staff is very annoyed all the time and never truly go out of their way to help. I asked if they took passport photos (most rite aids do) and it took two employees saying "I don't know". It's fine if you don't, but be nice about it and try to direct me into a better direction, not just call up the next person in line. Such a frustrating experience, will get my easy prescription elsewhere.

This has been my pharmacy and my families pharmacy since it was Thrifty drugs and was located in the safeway shopping center. I've been getting my prescriptions filled there since I was literally 9 years old. Never had problems. Always was greeted by warm smiling faces of people I recognized and whom knew me by name upon arrival. However in the last 2-3 years it's been a very very different experience. Too much over turn. Too many non English speaking people. New people in and out almost every time I go to pick up my meds. Old familiar faces seem to be long gone. Never seems to have a regular pharmacist there. Always some new pharmacist that's filling in for the day. Or for the week or the month. Sometimes these fill ins flat out refuse to fill normally filled prescriptions and I've had to file formal complaints with the pharmaceutical board. But other times they simply don't seem to know what the hell theyre doing or saying. Even when on the phone with prominent medical drs and professionals in our town that are calling them to complain about specific things they are doing while handling prescriptions for this pharmacy. But Still they can't seem to manage to keep their word. Or there story straight in when they will have the Med. Or why it is that they can't have it ready etc etc. I am currently on 3 1/2 weeks now without my medication. And it's looking like it's not going to end well. Last guarantee from a fill in pharmacist was tomorrow morning first thing. Just got off the phone and was told nope. At best tomorrow afternoon. I am Planning on filing a major complaint once again . It makes me sad. I've always considered this pharmacy family and wouldn't go any place else or recommend anywhere else to others. However now I tell people to steer clear of the Rite-Aid pharmacy in Anderson Ca.

This pharmacy has gotten WAY too many clients and they can't handle to unrealistic load that comes with having too many to fill. I'm still staying at this pharmacy due to their drive up. Though it may take some time to get thru once in awhile, usually it's not bad and when you're unable to walk most days, it's a blessing.
