We have lived in Amador County for over 34 years. After trying a few other propane providers early on, we found Campora. We have been with them for more years than I can remember. We are very pleased with the way we have been treated, always with professional courtesy. We have never been allowed to run out of propane, and prices have always been fair. When we have needed repairs on our tank, they have taken good care of us. I highly recommend Campora!

Ok so first off what I want to say about all the people writing bad reviews about this company is bs in my opinion! I was turned on to them a few years ago by a friend and they have done nothing but save me money and the ladies in the office are fantastic people which I have never met personally but they treat me like family pretty much! They are a smaller company and they are just trying to live in this dog eat dog world of big companies and corporate bs! Things happen, trucks do break down, and so what if you pre paid, maybe you were at the bottom of the list when you pre paid, just because you pre pay doesn’t mean you’re first! Next time people try and be pro active and check your s..t in advance and give them more time ! Hell you guys could go back to kamps or whatever and pay double! Have a nice day and remember you’re not the only person who is important!!!!

We have a small tank and they've worked with us to get it filled when they have a truck nearby. And less expensive than the last company we had. Great experience overall.

It’s really unfortunate to see all of the 1-star reviews. We’ve been dealing with Campora now for 3 years and have yet to experience any of the things others have mentioned here. I believe they had a complete turnover in the office as most folks are newer, maybe the problems are in the rear view mirror now. Their processes are great, the staff has always been kind, helpful, and what I would consider above-and-beyond. Kimberly is always sweet and a joy to speak with, very knowledgeably, and extremely helpful. This team is great and one of my favorite suppliers to work with.

When I called them to say I was 100% out of propane I was told they'd be there the next day. Since I was flying away on business that night I was happy the elderly gentleman who would be watching my pets and house would have heat and hot water....it's now been a week and I am back home, with no hot water nor heat. They seem to offer NOTHING but excuses of why that is, even blaming me for this. I'm never going to use this horrible company again. Their competitors jumped at the opportunity to service my account and provided me with fuel. The girl I talked with (Deserie) was rude and unfeeling in the situation. She never once called nor let me know why or when I would get fuel, I had to call them over and over again for her latest "reason" they couldn't come fill the tank. My favorite was the driver couldn't run his route due to the snow even though the roads were clear, and I live off the main street on pavement!! I wonder how she'd feel having no heat nor hot water for a week? STAY AWAY FROM THIS HEARTLESS COMPANY.

(Would want to rate - 5 stars) Worst company ever!! Been trying to get gas for my daughter for over a week, they’re snowed in and now have no heat/hot water, called them and the lady that answered just laughed, found it funny. It wasn’t due to getting gas refill late but to a gas leach. They refilled 2 months ago and gas lasts her about 6-7 months. Appt was set for 6 days after they called and today is the day, well they haven’t showed up (appt was for am) and now they won’t answer phone. When we initially called to make appt they refused to let us talk to a supervisor. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!!

I called for a fill up on Tuesday and PAID in advance. They said Thursday, no show. I called and they said Friday. No show. I called Friday they said Truck broke down and said first thing Monday morning. Monday no show. Mind you I prepaid and have always paid on time. Tuesday no show. Now after calling again they say that wednesday morning they will send out a driver to give us just a little propane until other driver can fill it. Does that make any sense? I am a senior citizen and I am freezing cold because we are now out of propane. I even told them that if they didn't show up I will be forced to call someone else. Never gave them any reason to treat me this way. Simply unexcusable. I couldn't give less than one star or I would have.
