Cards never work at the pump. Always have to go inside. The male cashier is very odd and doesn't care about the problem. He reminds me of a serial killer or something. Gas is most expensive in town too. Also the cashier always tries to have stupid political conversations and I don't care man I just want to get out of there.

The cashier was blatantly sexist. If you’re a woman I would avoid this gas station a take your business elsewhere.

Not stellar but good stopping point. It has a clean bathroom, reasonable selection and convenient location and parking area. Cashier while not chatty was friendly and helpful. If passing through its a good stop as well as meeting place for car and motorcycle cruises.

Rude attitude from attendant. Not friendly or helpful at all. Very dirty. Horrible bathroom experience

Very good Mexican food! I had the "wet" shredded beef burrito. Attentive and kind service.

The food was very good. I had the colorado burrito and my wife had the la tapatia salad. Our server was Lisa and she was super! She was very friendly, patient and attentive. The flan was excellent, thanks for the flan Lisa!

Went and got three plain quesadillas, took them a while to take my order and when they did they didn't tell me the price, so when they brought them out told me it would be 28$...I know they're made on the spot but 3 plain cheese quesadillas costing 28$? I will take my service somewhere else and make them myself next time.

There are 89 embedded plaques in the sidewalk marking the frog hop of fame. Calaveras county is known for their jumping frog jubilee held in May. It was made famous by Mark Twain. It was great walking down the historic section of town and reading the plaques the names of the frogs and their handlers. Walking through the town stepping back in time and experiencing what the pioneers was quite interesting.

I have tried to give this place a chance and ordered different plates every time but I actually find it barely edible and way overpriced. As a person of Mexican descent I am embarrassed by the dishes they serve their patrons. Hardly homemade. My husband asked for beef tacos and he received hard shell tacos and I'm not sure if that was supposed to be beef. It was absolutely disgusting and left a horrible aftertaste. Next time we will just go up Main St for real Mexican food.

Whenever we visit Angel's Camp, we make it a point to have food at La Hacienda. Not only is their service great, their food has never let us down. We highly recommend this restaurant.
