I hope they have grown a lot since I've been there because my memory of this place was quite disappointing and a waste of my parent's money. My friends and I were highly disappointed about the campus life they offered (or lack of). During our tour before becoming students, they promised so many clubs that we looked forward to; however, when we started our year, most of those advertised clubs they offered were no longer available. During my year there, they fired a lot of highly competent and caring professors, leaving the professors who were not as caring and professional. The on campus medical staff was highly inappropriate to my friend who went to them for help. They did not conduct appropriate bed side manner and invalidated the pain she was going through because "the school has nutritious foods and they do wash their lettuce and veggies" (no they didn't. Many people witnessed the cooking staff dumping unwashed salads into trays and giving it out for us to eat. Many people we knew also got sick from this negligence. I myself got dysentery). The education here was definitely out of the ordinary. It is required for the student to take a Christian class for a semester. We had to go on a hike (I love hikes) so I was super excited to go. My professor pressured us students to hug trees?? When I vocalized that I didn't want to because it made me uncomfortable to hug a tree for FIVE MINUTES STRAIGHT, I was threatened that my grade would suffer for not hugging a tree??! The tutoring system they have here was also below helpful. The people this school hires to help other students didn't care. One just handed me and my fellow biology classmates her "notes and study guide" from when she took the class and proceeded to look at videos and social media on her phone. When asking about a concept, we were ignored or brushed off with a "it's in the notes I gave you". Although the campus is a BEAUTIFUL place, I was saddened to see how far down this place has gone in comparison of my parents' high praise of the school when they were attending it.

Great school. I am a nursing major & PUC offers many resources for mothers attending. I have utilized their resources such as the family housing units and childcare! They really have been a blessing! Almost done & I can't wait to graduate from such an amazing school!

They do not believe in freedom of speech, they fo not know the laws and they promote bullying. We went up peacefully, to have a signing of the Recall Gavin Newsom petition across the street from the college. The president of the school sent the security guard down to ask us to leave. We nicely explained the prune dale law to the security guard. He left and sent a back up person, she was scary, aggressive, and very intimidating. We asked her to call the police for our protect

From what I have heard their educational program is superior. My only experience with this school is watching the women's basketball team. When sitting in the gym I got very itchy, I looked up and noticed the asbestos insulation raining down on me, like a blanket of mesothelioma. The smell of the gym brings me back to a laundry basket left in the locker room (sweaty socks, sweaty underwear, sweaty t-shirts). The women basketball team has been practicing, but I think do to the lack of meat (Seventh Day Adventist) they are not playing at their full ability. I have yet to watch a mens basketball game because usually by the 3rd quarter of women basketball I am itchy and coughing too much. The setting of this school is perfect if you don't want your kids in trouble. It is in the middle of nowhere, somewhat like the Blair Witch movie. The main disadvantage to this school is that the closest edible protein vendor is In N Out, 45 minutes away from campus and adds 8 dollars a day to your tuition + gas. One main advantage to this campus is its close to wine country, so if you are one of those caring lush parents, this is the perfect school to send you child to. If you are Seventh Day Adventist your kids will attend anyway so don't worry about it. Dorm life: from what I have heard they run the dorms like a jail. The warden AKA RA likes to bust in your dorm room like a pedophile, which strangely is right after people have showered and are getting dressed. Strangely when you are in the dorm room you give up you civil liberties (The right to search and seizure) just like prison, at which time they look for contraband (steak, chicken, pork, the occasional beer, and cigarettes). I would give it one more star, however the infrastructure of this school is slightly dated 50+ years.

I am grateful for the amazing education and experiences i was blessed to share with the life long friends I made at PUC. Loved and learned on the hill and found my calling to follow Jesus with all my heart. So many great memories thankful for the professors who challenged me to think outside the box something I have taken with me everywhere I have gone.
