The staff was so warm and responsive, from nurses to security (who helped me find my car when I was confused late at night), to random staff asking to help when I got lost in the building. Felt like a culture of care and compassion.

Despite all other bad reviews about this location I gave all personnel 5 stars. My 100 year old Mom fell and broke her left hip. When we brought her to Sutter Delta Medical Hospital in Antioch CA she was in a terrible pain. I though I was losing her. She was scheduled for surgery next day. All (ALL !!! ) personnel was very helpful, ready to help immediately, attentive to details which I observed 24/7 all shifts.

Hands down the worst emergency room I've ever been to.. You could be dying; they will tell you to sit in the waiting room.. They will call you in for one thing, then send you back to the waiting room.. They did it like five times.. Alot of the employees have attitudes not all of them some of them were nice and but none with a sense of urgency regarding patients.. I think they should do an undercover boss episode here.. Shit is that bad

The 5 stars are for Dr. Sarti in the ER she was hands down amazing and more ER doctors should be like her. Originally I was going to give Sutter zero starts because of my experience the day before I saw Dr. Sarti. On Sunday I went to the ER due to a fall and waited forever to be seen. The Sunday ER doctor literally just looked at me she did not touch me or examine me and basically told me that they were busy so my wait time could be longer if I moved forward with an ultrasound. The whole experience on Sunday was horrible but I was still concerned about my health on Monday so I went back to the ER. On Monday Dr. Sarti saw me and took the time to examine me and ordered/ran a few test. Everything was fine and I was in and out of the ER within 2 hours, definitely amazing service on Monday even the nurse helping was amazing. Dr. Sarti followed up with me via phone a few days later and even personalized her service by sending me a text message letting me know that she is always open to helping. The personalized service I got on Monday made it better and gave me back my confidence about how I felt about Sutter. I hope I continue to work with doctors like Dr. Sarti and her nurse. On a side note I never heard back from the ER doctor on Sunday, she never followed up or anything.

If there was zero star this place would get it!! We took my grandson here. He was 11 months after waiting for 4 hours he had to be transfer bc they don't have pediatric ward. Only when he got transfer they finally gave him the oxygen he needed. That's only bc the RN from ambulance transfer said he would not take him n risk it. DO NOT TAKE KIDS HERE!!!

I fell off my tailgate. I went to ER. Blood tests, X rays, MRI all accomplished and reviewed by a physician. Effective, friendly and helpful. I ended up with a broken rib ! The volume of patients moved through there is astounding. Great job !

Leaving this review for the lab center. The ladies that were working today were extremely unprofessional, chit chatted the whole time about distain for their jobs, bosses, coworkers, trips and Starbucks cups and whatever else, and lost track of time when it came to drawing my second set of samples for my glucose test. The old lady Dawn or Don or whatever with shoulder length hair and glasses is terrible at drawing blood, I have bruises on my arms and I know that's not a me problem because I have great veins and people much younger than her have drawn my blood perfectly fine with no pain at all and this was not the case with her. Also, they don't clean and sanitize the chairs in between patients. I asked about it because that's absolutely disgusting and unsanitary, and she didn't answer and asked me to repeat myself so I did, and she said "we do clean them." Yeah right, there's no way in hell that you had the time to clean the chairs when you literally just got done drawing blood and then immediately went and sat your behind back in your desk chair. Then the two ladies proceeded to whisper and laugh afterwards. Foul. You're in the medical field with no regard for sanitation or patient care. I know fast food workers more considerate than these ladies were. As i'm writing this review, the ladies are chit chatting while there's a patient waiting for a blood draw right now. It's really inconvenient that I have to sit here for two hours and listen to old hens bicker and talk about absolutely nothing when they're supposed to be "monitoring" me and haven't even done so. Let the glucose test patients sit in their cars or something, this is annoying.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. FIRST, THE LADY WHO WAS STATIONED AT THE LOBBY AND WHO HELPED PUT THE CHAIRS/DIVIDERS OUT, PLEASE WEAR YOUR MASK PROPERLY. TO THE OTHER LADY WHO WAS TAKING THE CHAIRS OUT TOO, PLEASE TELL YOUR CO WORKER TO WEAR HER MASK PROPERLY. super bad experience with er staff here. they do not care about their patient. i saw one patient waiting outside the lobby and the staff kept saying that she will be taking care of/or the doctor will be out but i already did my test and she was still out at the lobby. she even cried. my experience is the same. it happened from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. i am crying right now as i type this. they are so slow, lazy, no empathy, no urgency toward their patients. they even went for a meeting. i heard it with my two ears because a nurse opened the curtain and told this nurse who took my insurance card that there's a meeting.i waited and waited and no one was there to check on me. i had to go out and follow up and they kept saying results will be out soon, and that i will be discharged soon. they were just talking outside. there were not a lot of emergencies or patients. when i was about to be discharged, the guy nurse said to take my medicine. i said i'm not taking it and he replied right away, "i don't want you to take it either" then walked out. i waited again and created my stutter account on my phone and the results were there. i told the lady in the nurses station that the results are out now in my account and if i could get discharged, and she said in 5 mins. i waited again and it was more than 5 mins. i went out and asked where the restroom is and while i was inside someone knocked on the door as if someone was banging it. i was surprised. when i went out this guy's nurse was standing in his station and gave me the paper. i'm assuming thag it was him who knocked. he told me that my medicine was sent to cvs and then walked away. while walking, he said, "i'm sorry you were here before me". i'm not sure if he was concerned or sarcastic. but this is not just about him but the staff at the er itself. where is your urgency? your empathy? if your day is bad and don't feel like engaging with your patients, then don't go to work or better, quit your job.

I came here twice & both times some bad experiences. 1st, rude Latina who did the paperwork. Another time I heard this older African American lady asking for MRI & the worker told her the MRI is closed for the day. Shouldn't the point of having an emergency department is that all services are available 24/7. It's a shame people working in the healthcare don't really care.

Took my husband to the ER at Sutter because his blood sugar was 220 and he was shaking. They checked us in at 1115, took his blood sugar, 189, said his. Look pressure was high and we'd have to wait. 80min later they got him a bed and said the nurse would come take his vitals. Nurse showed up 90min later, took his blood pressure and said the doctor wo I kd be in soon. Another hour goes by before ethe doctor comes in. He asks my husband name, then kine, then asks how we are.related. Ask why we are here, husband explains. He wants to.know if he has a sore throat, no, a cough , no, a fever, no. Asks if he is vacinated for covid and when told no he wants to.know why. Husband said because he chose not to get the shot. Says I can vacinate you now. Husband says NO thank you. Says he's ordering tests. 35 min later lab guy comes in, draws 5 tunes of.blood and does a covid test. We wait another hour and.finally stop a.nurae to ask what is going.on. She gets doctor, he says no infections found in blood and we can check about the covid test on inexpensive ourselves. Says he's going to discharge him and leaves. We were there for over 3 hours and they never tested his blood sugar again. Doctors complete attitude seemed to change once he found out my husband and wasn't vacinated. I was pissed. When we got home, at 3 am, his blood sugar was still 190, way to high. The only person who came to see us right away was the girl.from billing to make sure we had insurance and who they should bill. Very, Very, DISAPPOINTED with the lack.of care my husband received. He is a 70 yr.old.man with a heart condition , former cancer patient, and a type 2 diabetic and he was dismissed because he wasnt vacinated. RATE THIS EXPERIENCE AN F-

This review is for the billing department. At ER visit gave insurance Information for the VA to be billed. Insurance info was taken down wrong and they billed the wrong department in the VA. After contacting the VA about their denial of the bill was informed sutter failed to bill them correctly. I proceeded to contact sutter delta medical billing department regarding their mess up, to give them again the correct address and insurance information so they could get paid. Trey the representative I spoke to was extremely rude and condescending. He would not let me speak and continuously talked over me. When I requested a supervisor he got more condescending and loud. This is not how you treat anyone in customer service ever. Sutter screwed up not the patient. He sounded irritated and it was clear. Again if sutter would have taken down information correctly in the first place this would'nt even be an issue but to blame the patient and to bark at me condescendingly was way beyond unprofessional and just wrong! Don't work in customer service if you can't do your job properly or you have little patience for crap pertaining to your specific job. Furthermore, I'm trying to get sutter the money they are owed for services provided. how is sutter going to be irritated with a patient trying to get a bill covered by their insurance; be glad someone is actually trying to pay their bill in the first place.

Treating me kind and respectfully. Very nice staff. It was a long wait but that was expected in emergency room. I passed my patients in a bag and everything went smoothly. Patient next door was being very rude to staff , staff handling situation very well I'm a bystandard witnessing it all. Good job Sutter ER nurses and staff. As we all know it takes an army to run an emergency room. Thank you for your services.
