They were rude there. The windows were dirty and I couldn't reach to clean them. They charged me $50 cleaning fee. Back of truck say $25 for nit sweeping. There is nothing in contract and who the heck reads in very back of van! There was no oil spills or anything. Do not recommend this place.

Clean, convenient, and when using the app you don't even have to wait for office hours! This is a professional outfit. I have rented from here before and if necessary I will do so in the future.

Check in went smoothly, but I had to return the truck "after hours" on a Tuesday at 2:00 pm. My phone didn't have room for more pictures, so I would have preferred to check out with an actual employee. But overall the process was smooth and I had no problems.

ZERO stars if I could!I made a reservation about 5 days advance for 24 hour rental (11am-11am) and the lady told me I had to have it back by 9 AM preferably before 9 AM as she had already booked it for the next day and she would have to have it ready for the next person.I told her that I had to have it for the full time because we made plans for others to help us with the move. She proceeded to tell me that she could rent me a smaller truck but I told her I rented in advance and per the U-Haul website this truck was supposed to be guaranteed to me for the time that I booked. She was very rude and tried to tell me I booked it that day which I did not. She basically said she would charge me excessive fees if I did not return it by 9 am the next day. I proceeded with the rental and then called the U-Haul customer service number for assistance in extending the time which they did no problem as they said there was not any bookings for that time. I then got a text message that said per my contract it needed to be back by 9AM. The U-Haul app was still showing 11 AM though.The original truck they wanted to put me in was filthy and the back door did not latch (DC 1866 L). I was moved to another truck which was dirty as well in the cab. There was sticky stuff all on the floor.I would not recommend this location to anyone. They lack customer service skills and apparently change people’s bookings when you get there. I was telling a friend about this and they told me the same thing happened to them as well. I was also upset that I wanted to use the mobile app to avoid waiting in line but still had to wait in line because they didn’t provide the lock code. She told me that you always have to go in when they are open which is not true as I have rented from other locations and didn’t have to do that.Overall I was very unhappy with this location and will not be back.

The first vehicle rented to me was not safe to drive. Transmission was downshifting way to early causing the rpms to spike. Steering column varied from loose to tight and hitting bumps would cause the steering wheel to move. I had to stand on the brakes to get it to stop. We brought that truck back and received a different one. The gentleman in the office was very nice. However when we brought the vehicle back, we were checked in by a rude individual talking about how "Oh, this the vehicle they been calling about all morning." First thing he says to us is about some damage on the vehicle(clearly marked as already there). We have rented Uhauls for over 20 years and there were always inspections done by an employee to document any damage before leaving. It's a good thing we had video of the damage before we left. I followed Elijah back to the office as he told me I was lucky he didn't just go off on me and kick my ass. He went on to say "I don't give a fuck about this job, I'm just trying not to go back to jail." When I began to speak with another employee about Elijah, he said he knew about him and his attitude. I did not trust that Elijah wasn't going to try and add extra charges as his only reply to my inquiry about it was "You'll get an email." We will never do business with this location ever again.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS SERVICE. THEY ARE THE CLASSIC RIPOFF JOINT. THEY ADDED ADDITIONAL FEES THEY AFTER I RETURNED THEIR TRUCK, WITH NO EXPLANATION. THE MANAGER WILL NOT ANSWER MY PHONE CALLS. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS AND MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. SMDH

This is not a place to go for friendly service. The lady taking your card is condescending and just plain rude. They need more staff on busy mornings. My contract started at 9:30 am but they didn't get me out till 10:30 causing me to miss a deadline and I had to bring it back late the next day at 11:00 am. Got charged a full extra day. No accommodation. I was looking for some kind of pro-rated charge but she got way defensive and we never got that far. If other locations near Brentwood were open on weekends I'd go there instead. The kid hooking up my trailer knew what he was doing and was pleasant. The trailer was in good shape and did the job. No hassles regarding the equipment on return. Other issues - they are overstocked on a limited number of truck and trailer styles. The 12 footer covered trailer is all they had, but they had lots of them so I paid too much for what I needed (x2 for the extra day). I'll contrast that with an experience I had bringing a truck in from Redding to Placentia a few years ago. I exceeded the mileage limit for the trip since I made a stop at my daughters house and I expected to pay a mileage surcharge. The writer at the U-Haul store in Placentia noted that I went over. I told him I expected that since I made a detour. He said, we'll let it go this time but try to keep to the mileage next time. Well, OK. Thank you. That made me want to use U-Haul again next time.

UPDATE: And now, a week later, they hit me for $131.25 fuel charge because they looked at the wrong fuel gauge. Now it's going to take ANOTHER week to get that refunded instead of paying bills with it. Unfriendly AND incompetent. I can handle one or the other, but not both.Can confirm that the woman who owns this place will give you the worst customer service possible. If anything goes wrong, it's immediately not her problem and she will berate you if you cause her the slightest inconvenience.Horrible business, rotting from the head down.
