In love with Wendy and her two adult children, Lillian and Gage, who help her run this Awesome family business. Favorite thrift of all time. 10 years of scream-laughing with this A-team. When I first moved here, I knew no-one, so I went for a little thrift. Seeing Wendy run a four room store, with so much fun and kick-a$$-ness, IN the center of town, while being the Best company, the Most help and always looking like a Varga girl, made me a fan-girl/devotee, fo' liiiife! (Pic is of a few forever-pieces I've picked up through-out the years)

I've been to this store several times since we bought a home out here - nearby (Sunshine Summit). It's the only closest thrift store right by us, but you got lots of choices driving a bit aways; ie Temecula, Palm Desert-Palm Springs, Borrego Springs-the great seasonal one by the American Legion & Ramona. But I love this one because it's closest, has a lot of a little of everything & hard to find items the others don't have. Some furniture & hardware-men stuff, but I love the country knick knacks, vintage & modern clothing, antiques and baby-kid stuff. The prices are truly thrift prices and the owners are so cool & sweet excelling at giving customer service. I had my granddaughter with us & her mommy forgot to pack enough pull-ups & I saw some half packs of diapers there & grabbed one her size & it was a lifesaver!I practically go there every month, what a nice "all things when they have it & you need in a pinch" to have in Anza of all places. Reminds me of Retro Row in East Long Beach artsy area.

I always past by while heading out to San Diego and have been curious to see what’s inside and sure enough i discovered many treasures. It’s one of those random thrift shops that you didn’t know you might get something you’d been wanting. Store owner was very sweet. Definitely a must don’t pass it up.

Great place to find a wide variety of treasures. Easy stop, in the heart of Anza, plenty of parking, and worth a few minutes pause. Service dogs welcome.

What a wonderful little hidden Gem. We stopped by here on a recent trip to lake Hemet. It was much colder at night in our tents than we were expecting, and on our way to a major store, we happened upon this cool little thrift store. Great items, from clothes, to music, books, blankets and tons of Knick knacks. I found a wonderful quilt that was heavy and super warm. It not only kept me warm in my tent, but it's beautiful to look at. My memory of Anza, ca. My niece found a cool, gently used sleeping bag at a great price. Did I mention I only paid 6 bucks for my quilt? What a deal!! My brother found some cool camping gear too. We spoke with the owner and she was super cool. Five generations right there in Anza. Do yourself a favor, and don't pass this place up. Be sure to get a funky, colorful shirt.. as the sign says, "life is too short to wear boring clothes " thank you for a wonderful little visit.

Someone in Anza purchases excellent biblical reference books and then turns them into Once Upon a Thread. I get to buy them literally for pennies on the dollar. I also find good coats for the winter and t shirts for working on the Rez; i.e., use once and dispose of them after getting them filthy.
