ACE Aptos is the best!! They always have qualified people ready to help! No comparison to any other hardware store I’ve been to. Just this morning I had a bunch of question about swapping electrical outlets and the employee that helped me was an electrician! Learned a lot and always love coming back!

I love going to this Ace. There is always someone in the front, that greets you and asks if they can help you. And they know what they have and where they are. This has been my go-to hardware store. And my recent experience confirmed that. I was looking for a cabinet hinge. They had a huge selection, but I wanted a more specific one. I went to the two other major chains in the area and was completely disappointed at their selections. Went back to Ace and picked up the closest one they had to what I was looking for.

This is a large well stocked real hardware store. You can buy a single screw for 10 cents if necessary. The staff is helpful, friendly and attentive.
I could wander around and look at stuff all day.

Always helpful staff to help find anything you need. Literally the opposite of the big box stores where you have to walk around in hopes of finding someone to help. Different business strategies but I sure like having the quick and easy help when I need it! I definitely always recommend Ace for the lesser experienced DIYer.
