I have been a client at Bliss Salon for over ten years, and I cannot imagine going any place else. I love the professionalism and friendliness of all of the stylists, and I always leave the salon with a little more confidence than when I walked in. With that said, during my ten or so years of visiting every six weeks, I rarely purchased any of the skin care products. I would peruse the shelves, but I was always apprehensive to switch from what I have been using for the past thirty years. I have sensitive skin that likes to break out in rashes or acne if I try something new. However, a few months ago, I noticed that my fine lines and wrinkles were becoming quite prominent. In fact, at Halloween, a close friend of mine thought I used stage makeup to emphasize my wrinkles to get into the character of an old lady. Truth be told, no makeup was used in the making of those wrinkles. They were all mine! I spoke with the owner of the salon, and he recommended I try a few of the Eminence products. I even watched an incredible video of how the organic products are made and where their ingredients are grown. I was blown away by the passion that the owners of Eminence have for their products and the care that they put into each product. I knew that even if I did not see the results I was looking for, I could feel good about what I was purchasing and putting onto my skin. Within two weeks of using a cleanser, oil, moisturizer, and mask, I could feel a drastic change. My skin felt smooth and appeared to be evening out. At work, one of my colleagues even said, “Wow, Liz. You are looking younger these days.” I cannot express how grateful I am to Bliss for introducing me to Eminence. I highly recommend the products, and I suggest going to Bliss to be educated on the entire line. You will not be disappointed! Thank you, Ben and the staff at Bliss Salon!Services: Shampoo & conditioning

I see a Heidi at Bliss for the most wonderful facials. Every month she has a great special for a great price. She's great at waxing too. Her prices are extremely fair. Her room is warm and cozy and makes you feel very comfortable. Looking forward to treating myself for my birthday. You should too.

Ok, I know I've already reviewed Bliss, but I wanted to take a moment during all the COVID stuff. I have been very cautious and was nervous about what the experience would be like, since my haircuts are usually a time where I get to step away from being mom and get to feel pampered and come out feeling confident with my hair. Well, Ben, of course, did a fantastic job. While being safe, he was able to make me feel relaxed and forget about all this stuff, and give me an amazing cut, which I got so many compliments on. Love the vibe at Bliss and I just love Ben!

Ben has been my hair person for some time. He just keeps getting better. The first hair color and cut I felt as if I had the best ever. He always consults first, makes sure I have been delighted with my last service, asks if I want anything done differently. He makes suggestions, explains his vision, but always listens to me as well. I now usually take his suggestions and have never been disappointed. His salon has been always welcoming and immaculately clean. Since the virus he works alone for your appointment. His other stylists work different times so as not to compromise you or him. I feel very safe in his salon and enjoy being able to have is expertise for my hair again. Thank you Ben, you are the best.

I have been going to Bliss Salon for 2 years, after moving from Carmel. Andrea has done my hair the whole time. She does my color and cuts, all perfect. Great personality, and very caring about pleasing her customers. All the people there are friendly and helpful. They also have great products on display for sale. Prices and ambiance are good. Very quiet with soothing music.

Best. Blonde. Highlights. Ever. Ben always does an incredible job, I just got my blonde highlights finally redone and added the keratin treatment, just what my hair needed after years and years of coloring it and feeling a little fried. People always ask me who does my color, BEN!

I had a really good experience with another stylist at Bliss in the past, so I went back when I decided to get highlights. Ben took me the same day, and I really, really wish I never walked in there. I had beautiful long, curly hair that went almost to my waist wet, and its been that way for some time. It was a huge part of who I am. I knew it had some damage and needed a trim. I have some grey hair but highlights helped me to hide the grey in the past and the grey doesn't bother me that much. I thought what I was asking for was pretty straight forward. I told him I wanted blonde highlights that look like they were lightened by the sun. I also asked that he leave my hair long and just take what was really damaged. That's not what happened. (To see the result skip to the picture at the end). Right off the bat he was debating my actual hair color. He was telling me its brown. Its dark reddish blonde. He wanted to put blonde low lights in because of the grey (after telling me my hair isn't blonde). I didn't want color because it would grow out. I said if the grey really stands out after I've tried highlights alone, I would do that next time. He was interrupting me when I tried to talk and I wasn't sure he was really listening, but I figured my requests were pretty straight forward and he could handle it. The highlights went in very fast, and I noticed he didn't do my bangs, which are always the blondest part when the sun bleaches hair. It looked like he was just quickly taking very small amounts of hair around my head, painting about three inches only at the top, folding it into some foil and not even touching the ends. It was very systematic and I don't think much, if any thought went into the job he was doing on me. He then started cutting off what looked like five or more inches. When I asked him how many inches he was cutting, he said "inches? I don't know how many inches." He sounded like he was iritated I was questioning anything he was doing. He cut straight across the bottom, which I could've easily done myself. It took him maybe five minutes to give me a bob cut with no layers. Since my hair is curly, this had the effect of making my hair look like a mushroom when It was dry. It was a little past my shoulders wet, but it curls way up when it dries. I honestly wondered if he understood curly hair. (The picture below is after I put layers in it). When he was done, my hair appeared overall several shades darker because he cut out all my natural highlights, which is the exact opposite of what I asked for. He asked me if I wanted my hair dried and I said yes because I thought the highlights might become more visible, since I couldn't see any wet. He acted like that was putting him out, and like I was now wasting his time. There was someone else waiting for him and I was getting the feeling he didn't actually have the time to see me that day. He kind of half blew dried my hair into a fluffy mushroom with like five tiny streaks on one side only, about three inches long and nothing in the ends or anywhere else I could see. I later saw there were some very small, random streaks buried in my hair. When I got home I went into shock by how bad my hair looked. I had to give myself another haircut to add some layers and it looked better, but it was a huge change, and I'm devastated by how short my hair is now. I called him the next day to tell him the highlights didn't show up and asked him if he could fix it. Again, he disagreed with me. He blamed me for not getting the low lights. I explained to him there are almost no visible highlights regardless, a debate with no apparent end. When I told him I was in shock by the amount of hair he cut off he said he knew I was going to be upset about that and that he actually wanted to cut more my hair was so bad. He said we were misunderstanding each other and it was mine and my hair's fault it turned out like that and he refused to fix it witho
