I am reviewing this bank not based on banking. The battery in my key FOB died at The Forest of Niscene state park. Someone gave us (myself and 2 kids ages 6 and 10) a ride into Aptos so we could get cell service. We walked to the plaza to buy a new battery at Ace Hardware and call my husband in San Jose to come and help us out. I know it's COVID but Safeway's bathrooms were out of order (I don't believe that) and so we went next door to the bank. Instead of saying, I'm sorry we aren't allowing the public to use our bathrooms, she was point blank about it and not nice. I told her we had had a horrible day and could my child please use the bathroom. She wasn't nice or ... let me check with my supervisor to see if your kid to use it this one time. COVID sucks for all of us, but let's try and be nice and safe at the same time. All my kid needed was to use the bathroom.

I honestly cannot be more grateful for this branch. My experience at this branch has always been pleasant especially right now with this crisis. A big thank you to Andrew and Erika for always making me feel safe. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you guys.

They have messed up weeks of positive planning by insisting to sell me a home equity line. Screwed up on my records, and told me the comfortable monthly income we have as well as owning 2 income properties free and clear as well as being a loyal customer for years was not good enough to get a SMALL equity line approved. again that they so badly wanted to sell me. They have literally demoralized and insulted us. Closing my current account as soon as I can. Over we pay all our dang bills online through them. Totally messed us up!

Banks get a bad rap these days. The bankers at comercia were very helpful and took the time to set me up with exactly what I needed not just what they were "selling"

Out of all the Bay Area Comerica banks this is the best! And really, it's the clerks who make it so wonderful! Every single one of them is personable and kind. Every single one of them is helpful. I had a pretty good experience at this branch compared to my old branch over the Hill. I needed some IRS documents sent from a different branch. The manager there got everything handled, found and corrected a mistake on my account, and I was on my way. But I had forgotten my cell phone. I came back and the manager and one of the staff called all the places I had been to try to find my missing cell phone. Fortunately, I found the cell phone. I appreciated the extra effort by all involved. One strange thing though: the drive up uses old school vacuum tubes????

I bank at this branch in particular because of the staff. Everyone here is so nice, no matter who helps me, everyone greets me by my name. You're not just banking here, you're gaining friendships. They are always so knowledgable. Rachel, the branch manager, is always helping the community & the staff won the bowling pin for Bowling for Kids Sake for raising the most money! If you want to feel like the bank appreciates your business, and not the "next please" feeling, then this is definitely where you want to go!

I have been banking with this bank since 1980 but a couple of years ago switched to a different bank for various reasons with the exception of one checking account that I did not use. Statements came once a month that I did not open, since I did not use that account. ......several days ago I received a call from a collection agency that I owed 56.66 on this account. I went to the bank the next day to speak to a manager about the overdraft fees being charged daily ($10.00 being charged every month and once it went in the negative in January, fees were compounded daily). I spent about an hour there with various people discussing what could be done and they concluded I owe 56.66 and was assured I had not been sent to collections. I paid the 56.66, extremely unhappy. The day after that, I received a letter from a collection agency threatening me for the 56.66. I went back to the bank manager and she said "any bank would have done the same" .The manager said she would contact the collection agency and get back to me. It is now a week later and I have not heard a word.. Beware!! It is obvious they do not value their customers!

Over the past few months I've had pretty good service here. Today, however, was a nightmare. It took the gal 40 minutes to count my money and complete the deposit. She actually said that she's not so good with numbers! Take your money and run!
