Hours: Rancho Del Mar Shopping Center is a very diversified shopping center for Aptos. It offers a great variety of stores and restaurants, including Safeway, ACE Hardware, Rite Aid, small restaurants, an ice cream shop, poke bowls, a sushi garden, and Peet's Coffee. Safeway has been serving the community for over six decades. It is decent sized, open 24 hours for late night shopping, and is mostly okay with produce. The fruits, vegetables, and flowers are noted as being a little more fresh. The staff members are friendly and helpful. However, the parking lot is described as terrible and ridiculous, and the deli service is criticized as being extremely slow. The Safeway gas station is appreciated for allowing the use of reward points.
