Had a great experience yesterday. I went in for a couple vaccines. I only waited about five minutes. The lady that checked me in was very friendly. The pharmacist that gave me my shots was very calm and patient, not in a hurry. We chatted before, then he asked me to let him know when I was ready before each shot. I'll be back for sure.

These folks are great. They're there when they're supposed to be, they get my Rx right every time, they're fast, and they're able to answer my questions. They offer vaccines, too. Nice!

Pharmacists are knowledgeable, service is professional and efficient, always pleasant and helpful. I’ve gotten all my vaccinations there and have had multiple prescriptions filled.

Horrible place. So many problems in communication between this pharmacy, MD’s office and insurance. They will send you home 10 x with nothing. Waste of time going there. Horrible customer service.

I want to send out another big THANK YOU to one of the employees at this Safeway. Her name is Karina and she is exceptional! I was looking for a specific type of cheese and saw her in the front packing out other cheeses. I asked her about it and she showed me one. Karina also said there were more down the aisle of 8 and 9 in the dairy section. I went to check it out but noticed one of the large refrigerator displays was out of order and the cheese I was looking for was nowhere to be found. So I went back to the front to get what Karina originally showed me and after asking me if I found any, she offered to go in the back to see if she can find the others. Amazing! Where can you find exceptional Customer Service like this these days? I told her if I had a business I would offer her a job immediately! I hope Safeway in Aptos recognizes how wonderful Karina is!!! Give her a raise! Thank you Karina!!!!

So expensive! I already knew this but I came here because of its convenient location. I got 6 things and it was 60$. Would have def been less had I gone a little further and went to trader joes. but yeah expected. Why is Safeway in general so expensive?

We went in looking for proper ingredients to made a lovely dinner and 3 of the ingredients we came home with turned out to be expired that being Edemame ,seaweed salad ,and artifical crab. The expiration dates all were valid for another 3 days yet the food itself was clearly spoiled all above mentioned items smelling rancid and tasting foul. If you are going to Safeway looking for any of their ingredients near the sushi counter think twice otherwise your just throwing your money away. It's a real shame this happened because the staff who helped us were very kind and helped us find what we needed. I would have loved to leave a 5 star review if only they had checked the products quality. It's been 3 hours since we've thrown those Edemame and spoiled , sea grass salad , & artifical crab outside in the garbage and the noxious stench still haunts my nose.

Worst customer service. A guy that works there made me feel so uncomfortable and was giving attitude since the beginning and when the director came he lied saying I cussed him out so she refused service! My uncle was a director and a professional one. The director at Safeway didn't even ask what was wrong and just refused service. I called the corporate office and they were so nice and professional!! They also said I can go back to the store but I don't think I'll go back to this location ever again

Food never looks fresh here. The only reason to come here is if you need something in the middle of the night - otherwise just go to New Leaf down the road and you will get higher quality food.

Won't come back here. We came for fried chicken, which is normally $9.99. Decided to get the $15 deal as it included drinks, rolls, and potato salad. LIARS! Just a ploy to get you to buy more. They still charged us an extra $10. Even as members. Will definitely report this store for false advertising. I'm so upset. Also, rotisserie chicken - dry and gross. Shame on you, Safeway.

I like Safeway, but this branch don't have an oven in the Deli for weeks at a time!!! It happened dozens of times that the over broke, and for weeks they don't fix it! Very annoying! It's like they don't give a f***

This rating is only for the deli employee, that waited on me today. There are other deli employees that are much nicer to deal with, but the young lady today is my least favorite. Every time she's waited on me, you get the overriding feeling that she either hates customers or her job or both. Not sure what's up with that. Why?? A little more pleasant attitude isn't so hard, is it? I just have to wonder why, 5 years after my first review of this store, the place is still the same.....

I would like to update any yelpers or readers about my call with Briana Lyle. Today 2/25/22 3:19pm I ended a call with Briana and I am left in awe as to how kind and compassionate she was on our call. I am very thankful I made yet a fourth attempt to reach her over the incident with her fellow employee Yoana. It is my hope that Briana is very well recognized for the way she cares about each customer and their in store experience. Everyday since that day I've driven in the area of this Safeway I can't help but to fee the negative feelings after my experience in the store that day while wanting to get a sandwich. Since my call with Briana, that feeling will change into a positive feeling as I am very thankful to know Safeway has a great store director. To Safeway Corporate, I hope she is recognized for the way she's handled this situation. I hope to speak with the area manager to give that person the positive news on the outcome of my bad experience.
