My wife shopped at this store for many many years because it has nice quality unique items, and very comfortable clothes and gifts. This was always a store she went to to shop for Christmas and birthday gifts. She spent thousands here over the years. Last year one of the gifts she bought was a sweater for her step-mom which was something like $200, but it turned out was too small when her step-mom tried it on at Christmas. So my wife brought it back to the store to exchange for a larger size in January - however when she brought it back with tags in tact, the clerk said that it was too wrinkled and worn to take it back and said that someone had clearly worn it. My wife didn't know what to say or how to respond, she explained that the sweater had never been worn only tried on at Christmas, and she just wanted a larger size not a refund, but the clerk said that she couldn't re-sell it now and refused to exchange it. I saw the sweater and that was BS, it was brand new, just wrinkled from being in a gift box. But the store clerk didn't just refuse to exchange the new sweater which she absolutely should have done, she made a point to make a scene accusing my wife of trying to return a used item in front of other customers. My wife was so embarrassed. She came home upset and crying, not because she wasn't able to exchange the sweater, but because she'd been humiliated in front of other customers. She said she was just shocked and just didn't know how to respond to the store clerk. Shame on that employee. While we would never shop at this store again after that experience - I might chalk this up to a one time inexcusable experience and just never shop there again - HOWEVER - a few years earlier, my wife had bought several stenciled pillows at Warmth Company, for our home. When she brought them home we noticed that one of the pillows the ink stencil was kind of smeared, so I suggested she bring it back to exchange it for another - so she did, however the store clerk told her that it must have happened after she had taken the pillows out of the store and they refused to exchange it. At that time, we thought - that's a pretty strange response to a long time good customer - but accepted it and I never thought about it again, until she came home upset and embarrassed from trying to exchange a brand new sweater for a larger size. No one should feel upset or embarrassed by a store clerk while shopping. My wife probably bought a hundred things at this store over the years, and we brought numbers of friends and relatives there and only twice tried to exchange items, which were new - and BOTH TIMES she was mistreated and embarrassed. Shame on Warmth Company. Neither we nor any of our friends or family will ever shop at this store again. I hope the owners/managers take stock in the way they treat customers and change the way they do business.

Full of beautiful, soft things for the home! Nothing here is on sale or marked down but the quality is fabulous. Bedding, pjs, table top accessories and candles are their specialty.

I would have given 5 stars but staff behaved like snobby Karens on all 3 of my visits. They seem to think that they must express their clothing lineup and it's cost with an upturned nose. This attitude is tiresome and outdated. I've purchased gifts here on 3 separate occasions, since the merchandise is great quality. Staff on the other hand, seems not to know that serving a wealthy clientele is about precise customer service.

Store is absolutely beautiful. I can see the talent for merchandising there and I love looking around. Unfortunately this is not the first time I've come in and not one person has even said hello or can I help you or how are you doing? Do you need anything any of the typical things that you should greet customers with . I was there for probably 20 minutes and there were at least 3 ladies working and it was not busy and no acknowledgment. One lady smiled at me but never said a word. There's a lot of other cute stores that I will check out and I probably won't be back there. They made me feel like I wasn't good enough to be there!

I love the Warmth Company, it’s a home furniture and furnishings store. It’s a hidden gem but once you go there it will be a regular place for home gifts and items to personalize your home. Lots of ocean colors, candles, comfortable duvet covers, shabby chic style and textures to chose from & also some clothing and dainty jewelry. We like to stroll there after eating at Cafe Sparrow.

rude, snobby, and judgmental. i have been in here several times for gifts, every time i leave upset with the customer service i have recieved. this place is the home of super condescending karens. I'm not one to leave bad reviews under most circumstances, but after 4 or 5 visits i feel it is necessary

cute stuff but workers ignored my mother and i when we came in to shop. it seemed that they ignored us for wearing masks to since they all werent wearing any ( they didnt have to at the time but just putting that into perspective!) but when we were ready we had to wait a bit for the worker to finally ring us up and it felt like they just didnt want our business. not very welcoming and the other reviews are accurate and make me feel gross for buying anything. go to a store that actually cares about their customers. im never going here again and i will not recommend it for anyone. not only that but they posted on their instagram about the mask mandate and how its hard to wrap gifts with one on. how? it's a low energy activity, a mask is not a hinderance to gift-wrapping nor is it exhausting! think about all those essential workers who have to wear one all day to save others lives! i understand not wanting to wear a mask however at this point its rude to say stuff like that.

Drove up from Monterey to purchase new bedding. I was completely ignored while I was trying to figure out what I wanted. I walked around the store and still nothing, not a hi, hello or asking if I needed help. I will not be back and it was a complete waste of a trip. Over heard one of the women say she was an owner and that she and her twin own the store together. So clearly they don't care and it's not wonder this store is rated so poorly online. If the owner doesn't acknowledge your presence why would her sales associates step up and help.
