I’m happy with my decision of getting a membership here. However if I had one major concern, it would be how disgusting the locker room floor and other areas are. Other than that let’s get it ??

Great facility when I come visit. Friendly staff and shout out to the cleaning staff who keep it cleans. One of the friendliest and cleanest site in the SGV :)

Bathrooms are disgusting half the machines don’t work equipment smells like it never gets cleaned and they have the audacity to raise their prices due to “inflation” ridiculous. 1 of the sinks in the girl’s bathroom have been missing all year. 1 other sink doesn’t work and 1 is always clogged. In the restrooms the trash is never changed always tampons and period pads falling out. The floor is filthy. I don’t understand why we pay an annual fee of $50 dollars then you raise the price for a dirty gym and broken equipment. Do better.

Why is it so hot in here? It is hard to work out when the air is stifling. I saw a thermostat on the cardio floor today and it said 76. That is not even suitable in an office where you sit all day. A lot of the treadmills, the control board does not work. Some members are clueless and rude, watching videos or listening to their own music loudly without headphones. The pedals for the arc trainer are often greasy and slippery, I almost fell. Pick one tv to have sound on, hopefully just music and not news. Sometimes it is silent, other times there is too much extraneous noise

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star.24 Hour Fitness… why are you even wasting money on employing the guy who works at night. Dude’s eyes are literally glued to his phone. Doesn’t even know who comes in and/or leaves. I kid you not… I’ve been coming to this location at night for some times now and I have never seen his face. Just his head looking down in his phone every time he’s working. Bunch of Homeless people outside which they can’t do anything about… I get it. But why are they inside too? Before anyone thinks, I’m a heartless PoS.. let me clarify. I am glad they can come in and have roof over their head at night especially during when winter comes… but I saw one just going around weights and machines and literally touching EVERYTHING for absolutely no reason… I mean everything. The gym is already FILTHY to begin with. Literally trash everywhere. On the floor. Heck even weight machines are dirty. Trash left in the cardio machines. - that dude at Desk can at least go around the cardio area and clean up a bit. It’s literally by his desk.Locker room and floor - dirty and moldy.Sauna - smells like they been brewing sweat for 50 days.24 Hour Fitness… I’m gonna try to find a different location at night. I’m sure it’ll be better than here for sure. If I cannot find any location nearby then I guess nice knowing y’all once the membership finishes.

Most things are OK here... but it totally lacks a back extension machine. It's the only 24 I've been to (out of at least 9 locations in two states) that doesn't have one.I need to use this machine for physical therapy purposes, and while there's a manual station where you can do back extensions by physically holding up a weight, it isn't safe for my upper body disabilities to do that often. So because of this weird oversight I've been having to waste gas driving to Burbank.I'll rate it higher if they put in this important piece of equipment.

The gym is spacious, has enough equipment, and has a nice pool. I gave it 1 star because it’s the dirtiest gym I’ve ever been to and I’ve had several memberships. I don’t know why there’s dispensers/ sanitation sprays, can tell they haven’t been filled in a while. Front desk’s excuse was “If things are empty is because I’m the only one here and haven’t gotten a chance.”The pool area was super weird and uncomfortable, several couples that were in the hot tub area got extremely comfortable. Then tried continuing (whatever they were doing) in the pool. (Those ppl should not be allowed back inside)The bathrooms are disgusting. There’s mold in the showers, some floors are black, and the bathroom stalls smell like p**** Some of the stalls were clogged, there was piles of p**** and toilet paper everywhere. Looks like this place hasn’t been cleaned in months. They should just remove the glass, all glass walls are filthy. Honestly was afraid to catch fungus from touching anything. I’m very surprised they haven’t shut this place down because of how unsafe the situation looks. They need to hire a professional cleaning crew to deep clean because this situation is not a one day thing.

The showers are being taken over by people don’t even workout but the equipment is fine . Deep cleaning the gym floor needs to become a priority. Staff is friendly and very nice ! They deserve a professional clean up crew to shine the floor and air filtration system that eliminates odor by not over comprising with chemical scents. Pictures to come .. I have proof

Cleanliness is not a priority at the Arcadia location.Paper dispensers are often empty- spray containers to wipe equipment are empty or broken at best. Hand sanitizers are empty for consecutive days because “they’re on back order.” The Monrovia site while it’s not a sports club is sooo much cleaner and staff do go out of their way to monitor supplies and empty trash cans… unlike Arcadia where they overflow especially on weekends and staff seem indifferent.

dirtiest gym I’ve been to so far this year. there was puke at the sink in the men’s room. the floor was filthy enough that a normal person wouldn’t want take take off their shoes and hop into the shower.machines on the top level are mostly old and show signs of rust in many of them. other gyms I’ve been to have their thermostats at 72F, theirs is around 76F, so if you’re on the hotter side majority of the time, you won’t last long stay there. you’d be glad if you don’t faint.i’ve been there only a couple of times, and it’s already enough that i’ve cancelled my annual membership and planning to return to a more private one with much cleaner and newer facility.

Writing another review a year later, just to say that this place still has never been cleaned and quite frankly, it’s dangerous if you’re using the basketball court, have slipped and hurt myself many times due to the floors never being properly cleaned. On top of that, it’s probably one of the most drama fueled work environments I’ve ever seen in my life. When you walk in it feels like a high school with the employees talking badly about people there, as well as flirting, and ignoring people who actually need help. Don’t be surprised when this place is closed by next year ?

I stopped coming here a few years ago but recently moved back home so figured I'd try it out again. This is now my favorite gym! Although it can get busy at times and some of their equipment may be dated I think its the perfect balance of everything I need in a gym. For the size of the gym, they've got ample amounts of cardio equipment both downstairs and upstairs. They have a total of 6 squat racks, 6 bench presses and ample areas to lift free weights or use machines.I've gone to a few other 24s around LA/OC (Downey, Pasadena, Monrovia, Monterey Park, Tustin/Irvine and UTC La Jolla) and out of all of them I love this location the best, although I may be biased because it is my home gym. I think this location is cleaner than all the other ones I've been to. They restock their paper towels and sprays often and have employees who pay attention and help re-rack the weights more often than other places. I can usually find the weights I'm looking for because they're more or less in the right place. There may be some paper towels scattered along the floor every once in a while but its never as bad as the Downey location or the Pasadena location. Yes, the bathroom may smell at times...but honestly which gym have you been to that doesn't smell - do you not expect people to sweat at the gym?I also love the staff that work here. I can't say enough good things about my personal trainer Alex. He's such an awesome trainer who's experienced in so many different specialities. I've trained with him a few times now and he's made me feel muscles that I didn't know I had before. To be perfectly honest, I didn't think I needed a trainer since I've been gyming on and off for a few years but boy was it worth it training with him. I highly recommend signing up for an intro training class, you've got nothing to lose and only knowledge and muscles to gain. The GM Rodney and AGM Bryan are sooooo friendly. The rest of the staff at the front are always welcoming and friendly.I think the only disclaimer I have to give is that I typically gym between 10-3 so off peak hours. Not sure if the gym gets busier during peak hours.

This business makes significantly too much money for their showers and bathrooms to always be so disgusting. Something has to be said about a business that doesn't fix basic issues such as cleanliness.
