Bargain Box, managed by the Assistance League of Arcadia, is a unique and well-loved store that offers more than just shopping. It features a wide selection of high-quality merchandise, including furniture, housewares, and decor, all in excellent condition and attractively staged. The store resembles an upscale antique shop rather than a typical thrift store, with new treasures appearing weekly. Visitors often comment on the helpful and friendly volunteers who staff the store, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The store is beautifully decorated, especially during holidays like Halloween, adding to its inviting charm. Prices are very reasonable, making it easy to find great bargains on unique items. Though the store operates only two days a week, Wednesday and Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm, it is worth planning a visit. The proceeds from sales support philanthropic programs in the San Gabriel Valley, including Operation School Bell, which helps provide clothing and school supplies to children in need. Parking is available in a small lot or on the street. While the store offers a casual environment where staff are friendly and helpful, some shoppers note that clothing is not organized by size. Overall, Bargain Box is a hidden gem known for its quality items, friendly staff, and support of community programs.
Run by volunteers. Revenue goes to philanthropic programs, mainly to underserved students in San Gabriel Valley.

I found some GREAT TREASURES, but you really have to focus when the ladies are ringing your items at the checkout counter. They are so busy chit-chatting among themselves not paying attention when there is a sale and they are overcharging. Other than that you'll never know what treasure you may find at Bargain box.
