I have been helped by Lily Wang and she is great. She is always willing to help and is very patient and kind. She has helped me with opening an account and my other banking needs. She is always willing to help in whatever way she can. I really trust Lily! I recommend her if you bank with Citi or are looking for a new bank. She speaks English and Mandarin.

Beware Investment Advisors at Citi. Last Dec 2021, citi branch setup my mom to get investment advise. Advisor Anna persuade my mom to invest all her svgs into a Franklin municipal bond fund. Less than 1 mos, the fund dropped over $5k, and by 5th mos, it dropped $16k more than 11%. Noted my mom is 81 yrs old, do not speak English, and has NO grammar school, not any investment background. I filed a compliant to Citi investigation team. What it came back was she was in suitable investment because her tolerance level is "moderate", and investment knowledge is "moderate". How on earth does a 81 yrs old widow evaluated as "moderate" risk + experienced investor? Then I find out the decision of "suitable fit" was based on "new acct form" she signed. Anna asked my mom signed an open account form (in English), computer-typed by her, ck box "moderate" investment exp, and moderate risk. So my mom never knew what she signed, but was told in chinese that it was an open account form. I was present, and I did asked "shouldn't we wait until next year because Fed is increasing rate, and wouldn't this bond fund goes down?" Anna replied, she followed this fund over 20yrs, and it is very safe and will go back up eventually if it goes down one year. So far, my mom has lost $16,000 over 11% in this fund within 6 mos. And I later find out citi advisors receives commission from clients and being year-end, advisors must be desperate to meet quotas. Also, Please be aware there is no such thing as "Compliant dept" because there is no person's name who email you nor contact phone no. (Only they can talk justify they're right, but you can never talk to anyone! ) When you call and file a compliant, they take your compliant and after 1-mo reply your email with some ridiculous excuses that your investment is right fit, it is just your bad luck investing on the market. BE AWARE OF THE AGENT, "ANNA L" She service Arcadia, Irvine, SG valley. I had to trace her 3 branches to find her#.

Bank is only interested in taking your money, no service afterwards.

I have not been to this branch for awhile, but I went with my sister since the other branch I go to was pretty busy one Saturday last year, as I needed to make some transaction before the end of the year - I was really impressed with the customer service and knowledge that Jerry N. provided. Subsequently, when I had other issues I needed to address, Jerry was always very helpful and willing to help. I have requested his help a few more times thereafter and he gave us excellent customer service each time. I hope he does not change.

Banker Jerry N. did a wonderful job today. He was very patient and clear at explaining and resolving an account issue due to complicated Citibank changes in legal policies. However, the bank tellers are whole different story. Apparently, they're exactly what previous Yelp reviewers claim: cold, unsympathetic, and useless employees. Just ask for a supervisor and file a complaint with corporate. This will indefinitely get the branch management to react because too many complaints and lost of customers will result in his/her dismissal or another promotion due to their incompetent underlings. Loyal customers deserve good service and be able to bank with ease and not be intimidated. Citibank needs to keep in mind customers aren't prisoners to your corporate greed. We can BURY you guys by WITHDRAWING our money and going ELSEWHERE!

Absolutely useless. Couldn't do anything I asked for regarding my account. Told me to call the Citi customer service which also could not do anything for my account. Also treated me condescendingly. Terrible experience overall and I refuse to use Citibank from here on (service with the entire bank has been awful).

I was there to exchange large bills and to my surprise, this teller Justin Yeh asked me for a debit card. He just made an eye contact and waved his hand telling me he was available. Guess 10am was too early for him (or maybe he forgot his coffee, LOL). What is wrong with younger generation in America now? #notfriendly #nomanner #smileface

They denied to open a checking account saying name on my Drivers license is long and won't fit in their name field of application form. I asked for written response, they told that they will get back to me after checking with their back office but never responded.

I see I'm not alone in my dissatisfaction with this branch. I make a point of visiting the First Avenue location for all my banking needs . I'll never return to 660 Duarte Rd. Citibank.

Not sure why this location still need to exist! They did not provide service at all, when you come to tell them you receive message from the Citibank online regarding some transactions, they give you phone number and tell you to call yourself. What is this location for?

Wanted to make credit card payment at this location and they refused me because I didn't have an account at that location. They are rude and dismissive and think that's absolutely acceptable as a business model for service. Looks like I'm not alone in the sentiment.

Customer service here is so bad, it's laughable. I only come to this location to make ATM deposits and withdrawals, but I came here today to ask a question about any ongoing promotions with the intention of opening new accounts since I was nearby. To preface this, I usually go to the Temple City branch, where Emily is my Citigold relationship manager (who is so amazingly nice, authentically friendly, and is actually great at her job), when I want a personal experience. The place was empty and I was told by a teller to go to the Citigold desk for help. The relationship manager there, I didn't get her name, was on her cell phone and hung up quickly after I motioned that I needed help. She didn't even bother introducing herself and asked me straight away if I was Citigold. Yes, I am. I sat down and asked if there were any promotions if I opened a new savings account. She told me what they were and through conversation, I told her that I normally go to the Temple City branch, but this location was more convenient. She asked if my relationship manager was Emily and then said for such a small problem, I should've called Emily to ask. I'm sorry, are you implying that I'm wasting your time? After she printed out the promotions, I laughed and apologized for going to her with such a "small" question, and she said it was fine, that I should call next time LOL I know they make some money from clients opening accounts, so I don't know why she was so rude. I went in with the intention of opening a couple of accounts, but after that kind of interaction, I left with a bad taste in my mouth and decided I'll open them with Emily.

If I can give 0 stars I would. I use to have a bank account with them. But not anymore. So I have a check that I needed to cash out. So I thought I'd go in to my nearest citibank which is this one. The check was from my insurance of 36 dollars. And it was even a citibank check. They'd asked for my social security #. But why? That is something so personal. All I needed to give was my id. As simple as that. But they kept pushing me to give my ss number. Outrageously! Insane!!! And give better service!!!

My citi gold account got locked because I forgot security questions. Their stuff tell me the banker can help me through the phone. When I come here they said they can do nothing with misbehavior.
