played here many times and cannot recommend it enough. starters are organized they call your name on the speaker. i know other people have had issues but in my experience they’re great.tip: call and find out when the women’s league is playing and DONT PLAY that day.jesus we showed up on a tuesday 18 was gonna take a painful 5.5 hours me so me and my buddy left early. they usually play every tuesday and have the morning tee times blocked off, but other then that it’s cool.

Nice course with a few challenges here and there, a few hills and stuff but well designed and you wont lose a ball..... theres no water and grass is well kept. Only problem was pace of play was a bit slow, but yet again it was a holiday weekend.

Course was in great shape! Well maintained!! Very old school course!Didn’t give 5 stars because of waiting on many of the Par 3 holes..! :(

Nice course, well maintained with friendly staff. The only issue was the pace of play was very slow, +5 hrs for 18 holes. Need some marshals out on course to move folks along.

Use to live in the area and played the course a lot, came back and played on 10/30/23, Greens are horrible! Long grass, weeds in spots, ball rolls super slow, have to whack it around like croquet! Fairways have always been longer grass then most , so i was expecting that. i'm not picky or a scratch golfer , but good at chipping and putting , these greens aren't even fun , 4 feet out and u have to whack it pretty good which pulls ball. Called it after 9, went to clubhouse to see about a back nine refund , got a hard No! I have only asked for a refund on a back nine two or three times in my long golfing career and never had a issue. Didn't care to much as it would've only been like ten bucks. Anyways, will be my last time here. Its for people who live in area and just want to walk a course. Bad greens and long fairway grass. Peace out Santa anita!

The driving range is only off mats but there are many spots to hit from. I like the course because it is mostly flat and easy to walk. The golf course is not very difficult for higher handicaps like me. The bar is simple but a good place to relax after a round.

Had such an incredible time here a couple weeks ago that I was dying to come back. Great design, great pace, close to my house, good facilities. Yesterday however was the complete opposite. We teed off at 3:55, first hole was wide open everything seemed fine. We got to the first green and they were punched and completely covered in sand. Unplayable conditions. Then we quickly reach the next group and pace comes to a standstill, taking us over an hour to play THREE holes. When we saw there was no one on the back we decided to skip ahead where we were promptly stopped by staff saying it is closed and you will be playing the front nine twice.NONE of this was mentioned to us when arriving and paying for a round of golf here. AND we asked for a refund and was promptly told that was not possible. A real shame that I won't be returning here after such a great experience before yesterday.

This golf course is inside of city of Arcadia. This golf course is a par 71 almost 6500 yd. The course condition is very decent, the grass are pretty green. However there was one very bad thing about this course is the greens. It is extremely hard, the grass on the greens is terrible. The greens and so hard when you chip the ball or when you hit the ball to the greens, it will not stop. However if you are putting on this green, it is extremely slow, you need to cut very hard and sometimes even that you come up short. They really need to completely replace their greens

This course was a great place to play, public course is wide open. Good course for the average player. Greens were in good shape. I recommend.

Great course that's maintained pretty well. It's a very walkable course so you can save a little bit of money on cart fees. There are some small hills, undulating fairways, and raised greens that makes this course challenging and fun.

Never played outside Europe before and got an opportunity to play at SAGC, very positive experience, nice and green, some dried out patches after the tees. Did the 18 with two teens (5USD each!), very wide and forgiving course that really helped to keep the game flow. Greens where really nice albeit a bit fast to play on. The easy access and availability (15USD) to golf carts was an bonus to the experience that we're not used to back home.Course was fully booked for the next day (friday) but staff really helped us out shifting things around to make it possible for us to play, thanks.Possibility to play the last 9 holes if you are a morning bird, ie something like 5.30AM-6.40AM start times, and also te same in the afternoon after 16.30PM (check exact hours on the web).Small driving range available, easy access, buy a code for a bucket of balls in the reception.

Haven’t played the course yet but the driving range was nice. Met some nice folks there and bet from seeing photos the course is nice too.

Play here if you love 6+ hour rounds playing behind five-some groups of which all players shoot 120+, 2 group backups on every tee box, greens littered with pitch marks, no marshal presence, and no beverage cart.
