Food is good but a bit pricy. Also min 30 dollar for credit card while most of the place in this area I went to only require 20. I would come again if there is no long line waiting

If you love Taiwanese food you have to come here. It is an authentic, family owned shop that has been consistent throughout the years

Classic Taiwanese food. They hit me with the Mandarin the minute I stepped inside and I was totally unprepared for that to happen but it was chill.
Service is very fast. The price is not super cheap but it is reasonable. We got 麻辣豆乾 (spicy bean curd), 香腸 (Sinbala sausage), 炸排骨乾麵 (fried pork chop dry noodles), and 扣肉飯 (pork belly rice). The portions are pretty large. The pork chop was dry but crispy, so I have mixed feelings about that one.
They take card if you order more than $30 worth of food. I’d love to come back to try their shaved ice because I hear it’s better than Meet Fresh!

This restaurant brings back so many happy memories from decades ago. I remember coming here often during my college years with friends and we'll hang out til late at night. The food taste and quality remains the same, if not better, after all these years! I ordered my favorite dishes. The fried pork chop rice, fried chicken leg rice and the famous Sinbala taiwanese sausage. All the food is delicious including the side dishes (there are 3 side dishes included). The fried pork chop and fried chicken leg are all still crispy even though we brought these dishes home. Granted, they would taste better if we enjoy them at the restaurant. When I went here, the Eaton Fire is still going on and this restaurant is situated few miles south of the fire, but once it opened for dinner time at 4.30pm, a steady flow of customers kept coming in filling up one of the 2 dining rooms. This shows that this restaurant is very well-liked and the food is good. The staffs were courteous and offered me the to-go menu to look at while I was taking pictures of the menu one by one. I like how attentive they are to the customers. Next time I would definitely come and dine here again.

Delicious, cozy, and tasty food. Workers are friendly. Ordered: A choy- good flavor, mixed with minced pork.. or beef? i forgot, but the meat juice enhanced the flavor Peanut noodles- good sauce, first bite was heaven Beef noodle soup- on the spicier end, perfectly chewy noodle consistency Xiaolongbao and the other dumpling- tastes fresh and handmade fried pork chop rice- tastes like homecooked food, warm and comforting shaved mango ice- would not personally recommend as it was just ice and frozen mangos and I was expecting too much

I have liked Sinbala for many years. They used to have one in Rowland Heights, which is closer to me. This one is in Arcadia and we often went there when we lived in Temple City. My mom and I went there on Saturday night at around 7 p.m. and were seated immediately. The place was still crowded and it was small but cozy inside. We ordered the fried pork chop with noodle soup, pumpkin rice noodles, and Tainan rice cake in a bowl. They first served us the noodle soup then fried pork chop came afterwards. The noodle soup was healthy but tasted a little bland; the fried pork chop was very flavorful and a little crispy outside and the meat was soft and tender. The pumpkin rice noodles tasted not bad but my mom didn't like them very much. My favorite dish was the appetizer Tainan rice cake in a bowl. It was so authentic and yummy with the sauce. I like the texture of this kind of rice cake as well. Service was fast and servers were friendly.

We came on Sunday night. We were seated immediately. We ordered the sausage rice dish and the spicy beef noodle soup. Both tasted really good to my surprise. The soup tho had a little too much of a tomato taste, but that nice tender beef made up for it.

I have been coming here for awhile now and the restaurant never seems to disappoint. I've had a majority of the items on their menu and my favourite items to get are the seafood pancake, Zhajiang noodles, and Dan Dan noodles. The shaved ice is really good and refreshing in the summer as the toppings are also fresh. I'd come here for a quick lunch takeout option or to dine in. The service is quick and ambiance is what's expected at a Taiwanese restaurant. Everyone is very attentive and swift in taking orders.

Sinbala has always been a comforting and nostalgic place for me. Been coming here since high school and the food is usually always consistent. If I don't know what to get, #1 Sinbala sausage rice always hits the spot. However, this time around I noticed some differences. The dish doesn't have pickled vegetables and the tomato egg is a bit different but overall still good. I haven't been in a while so I'm not sure when this change happened. And of course with times and rising costs, this dish is now ~$14 instead of the under $10 I used to pay. Still sort of reasonable considering the prices elsewhere. Milk teas are solid and get the shaved iced in the summer to share. Also, the minimum charge to use credit card is now $30. If you're eating alone, bring cash!

Solid place with delicious food! Their popcorn chicken and royal milk slush is delicious! Taiwanese sausage is also great, make sure to get it with extra slice raw garlic. Beef noodle soup is also really good, esp with extra pickled vegetables!
