I stopped by here to get all my ingredients to make chicken pot pie. There isn't a decent home made chicken pot pie place around here. The one near here doesn't add much veggies so I like to dice up onions, carrots, celery, zucchini, and petite peas. And for herbs, I had the the bay leaves, rosemary and thyme. For the sauce I add the chicken broth, dry white wine, some butter and flour. It is absolutely delicious!! When it's raining outside, this is one of my foods I love to eat. So soothing!! But as for this vons, the service is great, always clean and near the house!! And they are fully stocked with all my needs as far as ingredients go.

I don't shop here often. Kaiser took away the Silver Sneakers free membership to LA Fitness. I did the self checkout. I do that at Ralphs, all the time. I got stuck. I asked for help from an employee standing there talking to customers. He didn't walk the 8 ft it would have taken him to help me, so he just pointed to my machine. That didn't help. He came over, and had to push some buttons. Then, I was stuck again. This time he was angry and impatient. He still had to push some buttons. Mind you, his only job was to help customers with self checkout. He was so rude, mumbling and talking down to me. I was so mad. I hate to see businesses waste money - hiring people like him. As I walked out, I said, "Be a man. Show some manners." He mumbled, "Be a man, learn the self checkout". I would have said that at age 27. No one would listen. At age 77, having a degree in Business (Marketing), a career in sales, some people really should listen. I didn't tell him all that. He would have gotten mad. It wasn't that he was Mexican. I have worked with, and spoken Spanish to, co-workers and employees since 1973. Mexicans are so friendly. I could go on and on about them, and how "we" can learn from them. BUT, there are always exceptions, maybe those born into arrogance. The store manager should keep a closer watch on some of the employees. He should ask himself how it is that Trader Joe's employees are so personable and friendly. I don't know the answer to that. Anyway, my only recourse (and I'm over my anger,now that I've written this review - thank you, Yelp), is to simply not shop there anymore. there are many, many other choices these days.

I've been coming to this Vons for a long time, ever since it was previously pavilions. The workers were super helpful when I asked where the apple cider was. He went above and beyond and walked me to the aisle even though it was pretty far. Overall pretty standard Vons. Fairly clean but prices were a bit higher than other stores. They have pretty good premade food in the deli.

Amazing produce selection here. Also amazing deli. This is a great Vons location because there's a Panda Express, Starbucks w/ seating, and public bathroom inside. Everyone working here is super friendly. Deli sandwiches are great. Cakes here are also top notch. There's plenty of free parking in the parking lot. Great savings w/ their mobile coupons. The restrooms have also been a lifesaver when my friends and I are in the area and looking for one.

This store continues to decline. Terrible customer service..including the Starbucks..higher costs than other Vons ..really sad as it's my neighborhood store

The service deli Dept is very bad service,not profectional at all. Let me discribe the person how she look like, she is black, about 5.5' ,170 lbs, early thirdty. I told her I need 8 Pcs which I pointed to her from glass cabinet and she keep asked me what, what and what, at first I didn't understand what her meant by " what" finally she said "you want bake chicken", she has a very bad attitute. She should be fired if I am store manager

Be very careful when you go to this Vons store, especially when you use the shopping cart; they can lock it up while you are shopping(pushing) causing you to hunt yourself. It has happened to me, all I got from the Asian fellow is "I am sorry" Francisco, explain some antitheft system they have, how convenient!!!. Be careful of the Starbucks store as well. The only reason for the stars, Panda Express still has a good customer service.

This Vons is chill and quiet which is cool. I usually can find everything I need here however prices are a bit higher than most other grocery stores. If I am in the area and need something, I'll swing by but won't go out of my way to come here. Produce is fresh here and I like the deli section. The lines move fast because there's usually no one and I can be in and out quickly. Overall, would recommend!

Be careful when you come here. The signs that they put up and advertise can be very misleading and confusing . As I was browsing the store, I walked to the frozen area where I saw some frozen salmon and fish fillets. Next to it had a sign that says $5 each when you purchase 4 or more; mix and match. No limit. Since it is so cheap and there was no regular price tag, I thought it will be a good idea to ask to make sure. So as I finished my shopping , I asked the cashier whether he can check the price for me to make sure. He just said I'm confused with an attitude and was irritated. He seems like he didn't want to work there and was very cranky. Didn't even have a smile. He didn't even ask if i wanted to buy a bag and charge me for the bag. I know 10 cent is not a lot but I have that option. Next time don't put the sign like that and remove the price tag. And be more specific. Check ur receipt before you walk out the door

Review for the deli... first of all, my family loves the chicken from vons. We probably get it two to three times a month when I'm struggling with time. This time I was not just struggling against time, I was also needing to feed 15 hungry teenage boys for a last minute team dinner. Tried calling Ralph's and when I couldn't get them to answer I drove out to Ralph's, because it is literally on the way. Nope, won't sell me 40 pieces of chicken (5 mixed fried packs) because they need 24 hr notice. So now I'm panicking jump in my car to drive across town to VONS. Trying to be proactive I call while on the way. A nice man answers and I ask if I can order 40 pieces of chicken, he says we only sell in 50-75 or 100 pieces. I ask if I can get 60 pieces for this afternoon. He said, "we have a policy of 24 hrs for that large of an order, but I really want to help you. Can you do half fried half baked?" This man saved my day. Just the fact I had an option made the biggest difference

Out of all the local Von's stores, the Arcadia location is the best. It's clean , well stocked and the employees are friendly. Especially Larry in the meat/fish department. He went out of his way to help me find everything I needed . Thank you for being so sweet. I highly recommend this store.

I'm a regular at your store, but I'm close to switching my loyalty. Why? The consistent lack of service at your self-checkout counters, particularly from a female employee in her late 50s/early 60s who seems more interested in casual chatting than helping customers. Months of no greetings, no help with heavy items, just non-stop casual conversation with a bald head colleague, who works behind the desk by the main exit, while customers struggle. This isn't the friendly neighborhood vibe Von's promises. It's a letdown. Both employees are not suitable for customer service line of work. Do better, Von's. We expect more. Show us that you care about customer service as much as you say you do!

Done with this store. I've been coming here over 25 years. They have no help on a Saturday morning. No checkers, no baggers. Had a $250 dollar order and they wanted me to go through self check!!!!!!!!! How is this place still open??? The worst. So cheap they don't want to pay their employees, so if you want to do it all yourself this is the place.
