About Arcata Scrap And Salvage
Arcata Scrap And Salvage is a friendly and helpful place. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and willing to work with budgets. It is a great place and a gold mine for gathering odds and ends, junking old appliances, and tinkering on various projects. There are many cool, interesting, and weird things to look at, which makes it interesting. They have good prices on scrap metal and wire, which are much cheaper than new. They will also take cans and scrap metal. The junkyard dog is very nice.

It's a great and wonderful place to drop off scrap metal that you don't need or is in your way. I have to say though after my last trip I had to come home and wash my shoes my car and some of my clothes because that weird dirt out front. So be ready for that.

Friendly and helpful. They’ll take your cans (for free) if Hambro is closed. Staff is friendly and helpful. I typically give them my cans and, of course any scrap metal I have laying around.
