We had a great experience here, with the most friendly staff and a great selection of both fun costumes and day-to-day clothes. The two staff were so sweet to my daughter, and were really helpful to us 3 shoppers even tho we came in close to closing time. Thank you!!!

This store is more than a costume shop or a thrift store! It features great pieces for daily outfits, most of what you’ll need for any dress up occasion, vintage treasures, and gems you won’t find elsewhere. The hardest part is finding something you love that isn’t in your size!
It is a great place to take gently used, vintage or new items to earn store credit or trade them for cash.
I loved being able to trade clothes I. That didn’t work for me for some items that I loved and could try on to make sure they fit perfect.
Organizing by color also makes me very happy!

I am so glad I found this store, for constumes or day to day affordable clothing, this is absolutely my go-to. I have to sing praises to Louna, the lovely young woman managing the store. She is so sweet, super knowledgeable of all the inventory, has an amazing eye, and an uncanny ability to pick up on the styles of others and help them find what they’re looking for. She has helped me get in and out with exactly what I needed at an affordable price many times, and has 100% earned my loyalty to this store!

I am attending a 60s themed party in August. Many reviews say this is the place to go for costumes, and they are 100% correct! As soon as I entered the store, I asked for help picking out a 60s outfit. I showed the sales clerk several "mod" looks from Pinterest. Within minutes, she had picked out the outfit that I ultimately bought. For the skirt, vest and hat, I paid less than $50! (I already owned the boots.) Thank you Clothing Dock! I will definitely be back!

I love The Clothing Dock! I have been consistently finding hidden gems at this family shop. I don't mind spending fair prices on all of the variety of clothes I've been snagging. I appreciate the store associate Louna's ability to help me piece together outfits and all around make my shopping experience super pleasant and worthwhile. If you're in downtown Arcata and want to get great clothes or possibly exchange yours for store credit or cash, then definitely stop in! The people here are so friendly!

Ran by absolutely the most horrendous women I have ever encountered. The building entrance opens up directly to a road and my girlfriend went to go grab her kid who went out the door and the women there verbally attacked us that we’re stealing and refused to acknowledge us as actual humans beings. Instead of approaching her and asking her to perhaps leave the merchandise on the counter or at least come off with a normal level tone instead of straight up and outright aggressively accusing her of stealing would have been nice. I have worked in corporate management the last 6 years and I have never approached a customer this way in my entire career. There are better ways to check on your product than arguing with someone who is already planning on paying for items.

This past year I started shopping for clothes here and I am stocked to finally find a rad selection of clothes with amazing prices. I recommend doing yourself a favor and shopping here. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

its a very cute store with alot of promise. Sadly the prices are delusional. the clothes are used and some more than gently. I wasnt able to spend money here and i dont think i will untill the owner comes to grip with the realilty of the value of these customs. theres no reason why a used bubble bee outfit should be 40+ dollars. you might as well just buy new
