North Coast Co-op is a great grocery store that gives Arcata its culture and identity, serving as a place to interact with friends and neighbors. It offers a lot of fresh food options, with excellent organic produce harvested locally. The selection is amazing, featuring fantastic cheeses, bread, wine, international goods, and local products. The establishment has an incredible deli, a bakery, a juice bar, and a sushi counter, making it a great option for a quick lunch or picnic to go. Customer service is happy to help with any questions, and the friendly staff makes you feel right at home. While prices are high, the quality and selection are excellent and superb. Many are grateful for the Co-op's care in bringing organic food at reasonable prices to the community, making good food accessible. A particular gem is the famous Pickle Patch Sandwich made with popcorn tofu, an item that receives much thanks and appreciation.

This is a good organic grocery store that has a great variety of items. But keep in mind this business is often busy, and the walkways are barely large enough for 2 carts. So might be tough to navigate for someone in a wheelchair.
