The Rocking Horse in Arcata is a beautiful boutique and gem for children and adults alike. It is a child’s paradise with a sweetest curated collection of wonderful, unique, and fun gifts. They carry many local products with sustainability in mind and always have new items. The environment is very child friendly and warm. The owner and staff are extremely helpful, welcoming, knowledgeable, and super friendly with a warm smile. They are great community members and support tons of things. Prices are very good and they deliver for an incredibly reasonable price. It is a unique treasure, class act, and staple in the community.
The new owner has kept the old charm but added a dance store for all ages. I bought adult dance shoes. She was so accommodating to my physical needs in trying on shoes. i am very impressed with the service
