I have been taking my car to Simply Performance since about 2017 when German Auto in Arcata was full and suggested them. I had just come off a traumatic experience with a mobile mechanic who had ruined my car by draining out the oil and forgetting to replace it so I threw a rod! I bought a different car and Simply Performance has taken very good care of it. I have had different mechanics there work on it-- mostly regular oil changes (it's a 2010 Mazda with over 200k mi on it). I always wait in the office during the oil change and staff is polite and funny and they often have a wonderful Goldendoodle named Lucy to entertain me. The prices are reasonable and I trust them completely.

This crew is the best! I had a thermostat bolt head shear off in my 1992 Toyota Pickup 22RE when attempting to change the sensor.I called Simply Performance on a Friday evening, letting them know it was my daily driver and needed to be at work monday.The nice woman whom answered told me to bring it on in and they would get it done!She took my urgency serious and the crew began working immediately. The car was ready by the morning.I was expecting to pay a lot but the bill and was surprised was more then fare. I was left feeling well taken care of and happy.I would highly recommend!!! And definitely take my car there again!!!!!

More like SIMPLY BULLSHIT. The coercion used on unknowing people like my lady going in for an alignment is ridiculous. That's all we wanted then a list of things were told needed to be done. Go to Les Schwab they are reliable and will do the work to get you safely on the road.

I needed help removing a tight bolt from my car- had been struggling with it for a couple days, they squeezed me in on the spot 20 minutes to closing and did it quickly at no charge. Appreciated it so much, will definitely be coming back!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. This place is a ripoff. I brought my car in for noise in back end when going over bumps, they replaced the rack and pinion steering, cv axle rt and lf, ball joints, wheel bearing, brake rotors. I brought it back 3 times to fix the steering after they ruined it, which now makes a loud noise when turning the front wheel. They never fixed it, they broke it. (don't think I ever even needed it done). The loud noise I was told was from the hydraulics and that's the way it's gonna be from now on. They also worked on my brakes and when braking it sounds like a birds back there. I was asked if I drove on dirt roads and that it was dust on the brakes. Charged me $3441.00 and my car still does not work properly. I have to now take to another shop to repair the work they did. Oh, did I also mention they do repair work and not call you with a cost or approval before the work has been preformed? I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. This business is unreliable, unprofessional and not to be trusted. I'll never bring my car here again. They are disrespectful and have zero customer service skills. Just to top it off they hand you your keys completely filthy and covered in oil just to go above and beyond in showing you how much they simply suck.

My Tahoe wouldn't start called them and they got me in quick it was the fuel pump. They fixed it and got us back on the road very nice folks. Thank you will be come back if I have any other car issues.Service: General repairs & maintenance
