“Today was one of the hardest days we’ve ever had—we had to say goodbye to our sweet boy. 💔 We were incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Stegmeier with us through it. In such an unbelievably shitty situation, he somehow made everything feel a little less terrible. He was compassionate, transparent, patient, and genuinely kind. He took the time to explain our options, gave us his honest thoughts and guidance, and never once made us feel rushed or pressured. I truly felt like he had thoroughly reviewed Dudley’s history and files before we even walked through the door, so we didn’t have to start from scratch or explain everything all over again. There is no way to make a day like today okay. But Dr. Stegmaier made an absolutely heartbreaking experience gentler than I ever thought it could be, and we are so freaking grateful for that. Thank you, Dr. Stegmaier, for taking such incredible care of our boy and for taking care of us, too. We will never forget it.”

Also my cat has had a sheltered life and does not care for most people, but he actually seemed to enjoy the company of the ladies who helped us. Thank you so much.... He's doing much better.”
