Wonderful Owners! Give them a try!I'm a foodie and I like trying all types of food and restaurants, especially Filipino food. I sometimes get turned away from going because feel like I will be out of place. I was craving something sweet and started searching Yelp in Panorama City for a spot to grab Turon to try for my first time. I landed on Sally's, so I stopped in after seeing the good reviews. It seemed like a small family run place that does mostly take out orders from small to large. They were getting ready to close but I still I asked about their Turon. They were sold out for the day and kindly advised it usually best to order ahead because they do sell out and it's best to get them fresh. I believe it was the owners, a man and woman working who also asked me how I heard about them and started explaining all about the food choices, providing recommendations, showing pictures and how to order for next time. The best part was they did have 1extra Turon and gave it to me free and refused to charge me. I really wanted to pay but they said it was a sample so I knew what they tasted like for the next time. Honestly, this made my day!!! The owners made me feel so comfortable and welcomed as they could tell it was my first time visiting and I was out of place. It made me feel like I was at my Filipino friends house who is always making delicious food to try. I'll definitely be back to grab more Turon and try all their food. I love supporting small business that appreciate their customers like I saw today. Thank you!!!!!

The tiny spots are really the best. I was looking for lecheon cut but ended up ordering kawaii, lumpia and veggie lumpia. Deep fried goodness. If my mom says their lumpia is good then it's real good. It's made to order so don't expect to have it handed to you right away. Service is good. Glad I tried this place out. Definitely coming back for more

I've only ordered catering from Sally's but it was a great experience and I would definitely order again. I ordered lechon kawali, lumpia, pork sisig, garlic fried chicken, and turon. Everything was delicious! The turon was amazing! Perfectly crispy and sweet with a tender texture in the middle. The other standout for me was the pork sisig. I could have eaten all of it! Delicious. It was very easy to call in the order and I got a text confirmation with a receipt. Can't wait to order again!

This place is the definition of "Turon". You can drive around the valley, L.A. and even the outskirts of SoCal and I would place my bet on these guys when it comes to Turon. The other thing I've tried and also best is their fried "Chicken Skin". One of the best if not the best given that their finish product doesn't tastes burnt, not cooked in old cooking oil and they season theirs to perfection. Great for "Pulutan" we say in Filipino. These are the only two that I can speak for for now as those are the only ones I've tried so far. Lechon and Sisig are on the horizon... So, if you know or have tried Turon but haven't experienced that "Wow" effect or if you don't know what Turon is, please don't try to drive to the nearest Filipino joint down the street and find yourself dissappointed. Instead, drive here to Sally's and I guarantee you that as if you drove all the way to the Philippines to try Philippines' best. But you've been warned!!! You're gonna keep driving down to the Philippines once you've tried it. Let me put it this way for better understanding. You can find Cheese Rolls in many joints but somehow you keep on going back to Porto's. Hahahahaha! Enjoy! Like I said, Jay warned you!!!

They do have the best turon in town! Not only are they yummy, they also stay crunchy until the next day. I have ordered shanghai eggrolls here twice and they are tasty and is similar to something homemade. The lady owner is pleasant. I just wished they have later hours.

Ordered the sisig- if fried longer would be absolutely divine. But this review is for the dessert, we are a fan for life for the Turon. Ordered a few dozens for a party and it was a smash hit. Left over Tastes great too - we actually had to hide some from the guests. The per Turon price is a bit higher than others but all well worth the price for the jackfruit, the crunch, and the convenience of being in the valley. You go, Sally!

Food was good! I ordered a whole lechon belly. Skin was crispy! However, they are unreliable! I'm unhappy with the service. My order was late 2 hours. Pick up time was supposed to be at 12:00, my order wasn't ready until 2pm.

I was going to give this place a 5 star because we go here so often but our last experience during Thanksgiving was bad. We always get turon here for work and our house. My husband and I are polly their usual costumers whom gets turons at least once at week there. We also always get their sisig. There sisig is diff from most places. Its very simple but super flavorful. They only put onion, chili, big chunks of pork and seasoning. They don't add eggs, mayo, ginger and all the other ingredients that you usually find in sisig. With that said it's one of my favorite dish there. However last week during Thanksgiving weekend; the day before Thanksgiving to be exact, my sisig was a large order for $30 plus dollars, 20 orders of turons and veggie lumpia. The sisig was full of fat. An unbelievable large amount of fat. As a matter fact the whole big white container had nothing but fat and tiny bites of pork meat. When i got home the container was full of thick white larb. Even when I spoon into I couldn't find thick lean pieces of pork like it usually is. It was mostly onions and fat. I was so disappointed and super upset. I called and no one answered. I haven't heard back from them. Remind you we go there all the time and we reccomended it to our coworkers who come here now instead of D' New Aristocraft.

Ordered Package A for a party at our house, Lechon was tasty and crispy. Food was average but the desserts were a hit. Our guests also loved the turon and lumpiang shanghai. Overall, the food was great and it was ready when we came to pick it up.

I ordered catering for a wedding rehearsal. $1100 in food, but the highlights were: Turon, Pork Sisig, Garlic Fried Chicken, Lechon. Cathy was very helpful in helping me get a huge order finalized. The portions are huge, and the $1100 in food could have easily fed 70 people.
