I almost got scammed by this place. I got barbecue sauce on the inside of my charging part to my Macbook. It wasn’t taking a charge so I brought it here. Their recommendation to me was to replace my whole motherboard which would cost almost $1,000 yet they never even took my laptop apart. I got a second opinion and was told all that needed to be done was a quick change of my charging port which costed me under $100. The piece is I got replaced was under $30. My laptop works perfectly fine now and I’m so glad I decided to get a second opinion rather than letting these guys scam me. On top of all of this, Altech made me pay $200 for the assessment they did on my computer after I told l them I was going to get a second opinion. Changing my motherboard wouldn’t have even solved my problem!! The guy who actually fixed my computer told me this is a normal scam these places run to try and get you to spend more money. Watch out!!

I stopped by to have a little service done on a Tamagotchi toy (I know!), and the helpful technicians went above and beyond to help with the problem. Their courtesy and advice was really appreciated. I look forward to recommending Alltech to my friends and customers!

Michael and his team at Alltech computers are great. They have assisted my Accounting Business in setting up our office and systems with security in mind, fixed a laptop that stopped working, printer network issues, and more. I had my email hacked and he was already taking measures to stop the threat before I was aware that anything happened. The service is always fast and reliable. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my network and security needs. Thank you Alltech!!

These guys came through again and fixed a nasty issue with upload speeds on my office computer. A+ in every way. Fast, professional, and safe. I use them exclusively and have been very happy many times.

I took my Mac book air to three local computer repair places in SLO county each telling me my hard drive was corrupt and I would have to send it to the Bay Area for data recovery. I did that, they quoted me a whopping 4k for data recovery...and then they told me they could not access my computer and therefore they could not do anything for me and all my data was lost. :( priceless photos all gone. In a final attempt to get my computer working, I took it here to at least get a new hard drive installed to see if I could at least have a working computer again. By some miracle they fixed my computer which after all in fact, was not a failing hard drive was something wrong with the internal keyboard, they fixed that for free. Because my computer was seven years old, I decided to upgrade the hard drive to a hard drive to one that was twice the size- it was done within a few days these people seriously made my year. Thank you thank you thank you one million times. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I couldn't be happier with the service Alltech provided. Kevin diagnosed the problems within a couple of hours and made recommendations. All is great now. Prices were excellent I think, and responses were fast and very helpful. I'd go back with any issues with any electronics. THANKS!!

Great service and prices. Competitor down the road said hard drive gone, nothing retrievable, gave me a flyer of a guy that could possible retrieve data for about $4000, charged $39 for that diagnosis then said they would pay me $40 for the tower & they would use forTook to Alltech, diagnosed same as other place but repaired for $240 AND retrieved data. Great follow-up and helpful with questions.

The technician replaced the digitizer on my smart phone. He got to it the same day and I am happy with the work done. The staff is nice and responsive. I will be back if the need arises.

Danielle is my "rock star." Danielle explained what was wrong with my Macbook Air, how long and what it would cost for them to repair it, which was mucho bucks. THEN, she went above and beyond and checked to see if the Mac was still under warranty. Which it was. THEN she went the extra, extra mile and set-up an appointment for me at the Apple Store in SLO to have it repaired through them. Can you believe it?! I am sooo appreciative of the extra time she gave me, the extra effort she expended, how honest she was AND she saved me a ton of money even though Alltech didn't make a dime. NO CHARGE! No question I will keep coming back to Alltech and will gladly pay their fee.

The people that work here are so helpful! And nice too, especially to a couple of technology challenged seniors who had a very old laptop with tons of pictures that we were hoping they could successfully rescue. These kids were very patient with us too. We recommend this business to everyone who has any computer needs or questions.
