I don't understand what is wrong with this pharmacy. I cannot get them to fill prescriptions on time. I've had to discontinue taking birth control because of them not filling within 30 days. Apparently they fill every 35 days. I had withdrawal symptoms last month because they won't filled another medication on time. I've asked for prescriptions to be put in automatic refill, three months in a row. Then they enroll it and they don't fill until you have only one pill left and I work too late to pick up immediately. Every time I bring up the problems they don't listen to me when meds are out they don't call the doctor for a refill. And they don't let you know when you have no more refills it's really unethical at this point. I've never had these problems. And I feel like I've tried really hard to be patient but it's not getting any better.

Horrible horrible customer service especially at the pharmacy. Will never go back after counter person chatted coworker up with 5 people in line only to tell me no Covid shot available (I had an appointment for one) Awful

Totally sux now that the pharmacy doesn't open till 10am on weekdays. I can see it on weekends but not during the week. Very inconvenient.

One star is one too many. This is the worst CVS pharmacy I've ever used. Will be changing as soon as my new insurance cards come in. After being strung along for an entire week while my prescription "processed" they confessed that that dosage would probably not ever come in and asked me to change the dose with my doctor to one they had in stock. After doing so, I came back to be told "two more days". When I told them it had already been over a week, they told me "this one just came in"

this CVS in Arroyo Grande makes their pharmacy customers wait a really long time for their prescriptions. I called 4 hours ahead of time and they said that my prescription would be ready in 2 hours. I came into the store 2+ hours later and was told it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. 45 minutes later it still wasn't ready.

Made an online vaccine appt for Sunday, 11am. Got here before my appt, and then had to wait 57 min BEFORE finally getting the vaccine. The pharmacist didn't even show up until appx. 11:30am, and then took three others who had 11am appointments. It wasn't until I raised my voice about waiting since 11am, that he finally paid attention to me. He said there had been a lot of shots that day, but I knew none had come in I since I had entered at 10:55am. I even received a text WHILE I was finally getting my vaccine telling me they had to cancel my appointment!! This lack of customer service was truly pathetic. Do much, much better!!!

Terrible. They close for lunch hours. Why can't they take turns on their lunch break and keep the pharmacy open? Third world mentality.

I can't believe the incompetency of this pharmacy-from the pharmacists to the counter help, even the automated system scores 1star. Believe the bad reviews but realize things are actually worse. 1. Went in for a booster shot and the female pharmacist isn't wearing a mask. Actually about 50% of the staff wear masks. 2.Combine that with asholery attitudes and total incompetence when it comes to filling your rx(or not filling it, which happens too often.) and you get the the complete failure that is this cvs pharmacy. Go elsewhere

Wow! They insist on making you wait for them to help you, even though they are not busy and "working" in slow motion. They are inaccurate: I have given them my new insurance card 3 times and new phone number. Each time I get a prescription filled, they have the old phone number and old insurance info and try to bill the insurance company I am no longer with! Then, they make me wait while they "bill" the correct insurance company! The cashier is slow, lazy and has an attitude. It is clearly poorly managed. I will be switching pharmacies - lack of energy, efficiency and intelligence, even for SLO County standards!

Actually no stars if possible - used the CVS app to order a refill on a Rx. The app replied that I could not fill until the next day. So I tried again the next day. App said not fillable until mid August. Since it was filled the day before. So I called the store and explained that there was a problem with the App and I need to refill the Rx. They said it was not their problem and told me to call the insurance company. Insurance company said that yes it was CVS who should call them and they would not delete a charge for me. Insurance company called the store - the store dropped the call. CVS hung up on the insurance company. So I called the store again to make sure it was not filled the day before. Then called the insurance company who called the store. Guess what! CVS deleted the first days insurance billing at the insurance companies request. Insurance company said it was CVS who should call not the patient. Then CVS said I could refill the next day - the day after the App date. Why have an App if it doesn't work. But if they don't answer phone calls - your stuck. Get in your car and drive over and wait in line.!! How's your carbon footprint?! Basically fraud on CVS part. Charging for goods not delivered. CVS app charged the insurance company - took the money - before checking if the Rx was fillable- Pharmacy could not be bothered to call. Lazy SOB. Pharmacist and technician all terrible. Take your Rx elsewhere.

Horrible filthy sidewalk is super disturbing. We are not in the ghetto here, but judging by the way this store looks outside you would think we are. I've called corporate office to ask about getting it cleaned up but it's still like that. Farrell Smyth is property management and they truly don't care either. The ONLY reason I go here is my insurance requires CVS. Disgraceful.

Just do not waste your time filling prescription filled here if you need it sooner than a few days. I am having asthma issue went to Er yesterday morning they called in in the AM and it is 5 pm NEXT DAY and still processing!!! Thank goodness I don't need to breathe with an asthma attack !!!!!! Just bad service

The older man with long salt and pepper hair was salty as ever (indirectly). He was muttering disrespectful comments about a coworker (calling him stupid). Very unprofessional. Very disrespectful. Definitely not who you want as the face of your company.
