Haven’t been with CVS very long, twice already they’ve lost my script. The AP says it’s time to refill, when I submit it, told its to soon. There hours of operation don’t start till 10, and 11:00 on Sundays. They’re only open on Sunday from 11-5. I went to pick up my script at around 1:30, they were closed for lunch. While waiting, the three of them came back together. If customer service was so important, one of them could have stayed to help customers. Besides, why are they taking a lunch, when they’re only open for 5 hrs. If I wasn’t moving, I’d definitely find a different pharmacy, then the one in Arroyo Grand.

I tried to make an appointment for booster shot at CVS in Grover Beach and when it asked for my medicare insurance I tried to put in My Humana number which it didn't take the next day I tried to call to confirm my appointment but the robot would not let me get there I did not get a confirmation I was able to make the appointment so I went elsewhere. They are not user friendly and why would they need my insurance information if it's a free vaccine?

Wonderful drive thru service. The pharmacist was kind and even empathetic. That's gold. Thank you, Angelic!!

I have been living in the area for a little over a year now and go to cvs for all my medications. The pharmacy staff is professional and helpful , I'm not sure what the complaints are about but I've had nothing but positive experiences here.

Most incompetent pharmacy staff in Central California. You sit and wait in the drive through for 10-15 minutes only for them to tell you their system is down or they don't have what they are supposed to have in stock. Don't bother calling for the manager, he is by far the least helpful and competent person working in the entire store.

No bathrooms for customer use. Are they THAT lazy? Maybe close as a "essential" store if you can't provide essential services such as a bathroom. Boycotting walking into a CVS.... I've already long boycotted the pharmacy

Dr called in prescription yesterday and we have an appt in Stanford today at 245 for presurgery Covid testing. I came in this morning at 10 and was told they need 15 more min. I saw the pharmacist walking around helping people in the store. Went back after 15 min and pharmacist was just returning to the pharmacy. Was told they needed 10 min. I told them it was urgent because I have to leave for an appt in Stanford and need these meds first. Pharmacist said "well I need 10 min and I'm talking to you right now". Unbelievable. I had been very polite and was surprised at the attitude. Used to be better here.

I've been using this pharmacy for the last five years that I've lived in this area. My experience with every single tech in the pharmacy or the store staff has always been very helpful and kind. I have no idea why all these bad reviews and cry babies over this and that... this is TYPICAL for Arroyo Grande residence in general. Ignore and come this to this, you won't be disappointed. :-)

Worst location I've ever used, and I gave them plenty of chances for awhile now. Rudest customer service out of any store I've ever been to in general, and all at the pharmacy specifically. Very consistent issues with them that haven't changed. I get sometimes it's out of their hands and insurance has the final say when it comes to med issues, but do they have to be so mean about answering questions? I mean, why make us talk to the pharmacist for every new medication if you don't want to answer my one or two questions? The worst one is the shorter pharmacist with glasses, she is mean as hell and does not like questions. Never been talked down to so much before in a store. The only saving grace they have is the older blonde lady who is just a tech who rings people up, she's the sweetest and so helpful. They should all take notes from her. My one star is literally just for her. Will be using a different location from now on, tried Oak Park's one and it already seems better.

I was told I would have to wait an hour to have a prescription filled when I was the first one in the store after it opened. I told him hem I needed it filled right away because I was in serious distress. They couldn't care less.

I can see why this place has a low rating.. I tried to transfer my prescription to this location and when asking a question, I got a long pause and then she angrily told me she would put me on hold to find the paperwork. I'm not sure why asking one question resulted in a horribly rude response.

Went to pharmacy today to pickup and the pharmacy tech was unkind. Then she held me to wait for gods gift to pharmacist and call out that They needed to consult on medicine that I have been on for 3 yrs and I waited for 11 minutes while they chatted together and as people walk to them while I am waiting. So I waived at the female pharmacist to assist and she was rude to say - yes we know but we are busy can u wait - I retorted you want me to wait another 10 minutes. Then the pharma tech asked the other pharmacist could he see me. Waited a few minutes came over with - sorry we are busy. They were both arrogant and to add insult to injury - customers always wait in line and the staff tends to close their line to go on breaks. We have been with CVS about 20 yrs and it's time to change due to their arrogance - and lack of care for their customers.

One star is too many. They tell me it's corporate who keep them understaffed. It, to me, appears to be as inept as understaffed. No excuse for such bad service
