It has been over a week since my Heeler graduated from Doggie Do Good and it has been a game changer! In just 3 weeks they gave him an amazing foundation of skills. After the 3 weeks, DDG Trainer Jerian did our "Transfer" training. She was extremely patient and explained things clearly. Radar clearly loved her too. I have no doubt in my mind that my boy was treated with love and respect by the staff. He came home a happy and healthy puppy with several new skills to show off. I feel confident going forward that I can maintain his training. We have been having fun implementing the tools we both learned on our daily adventures and walks. 10/10 would recommend making this investment in your furry friend!

It is virtually impossible to write a review for Doggie Do Good because one cannot adequately put into words how incredible everything about the organization, the staff, the facilities, the training, the results, the follow-ups, the family, and the results is. From start to finish and beyond, the word we found ourselves saying about every detail of Doggie Do Good was (and still is) WOW!Entrusting your dog (whether he/she is a puppy, fully grown, or anywhere in between) to other people can be one of the biggest leaps of faith you could take as parents, but Doggie Do Good made us feel so comfortable and confident about the entire process before we even left to head to their wonderful HQ in Arroyo Grande that we were beaming with excitement about the experience each of our two puppies were set to enjoy. When we arrived, the intake process was not only as professional as one could imagine, but it was so loving and joyful that we knew from the get go that our pups were going to be surrounded by immeasurable adoration and attention the entire time they were away from us. Every single one of the staff members we interacted with were superb, and second to none.It almost feels like a disservice to focus on one staff member more than the others (because they are all that amazing), but we must give a very special shoutout to our pups’ main trainer - Isaac. It would take a million years to say or write all of the phenomenal things we could say about Isaac. Not only is he the greatest trainer that anyone could ever dream up (if you tried to construct the perfect dog trainer in your mind), but he is a stellar human with the attitude, discipline, organization, follow-through, and drive to be able to succeed at the highest levels in anything in life. We can all be grateful (especially our dogs) that he decided to put his talents toward training animals. The training that our pups received over the weeks that they were with Isaac and the Doggie Do Good team was nothing short of transformative. When we dropped them up, they were rescue puppies who had been through quite a long and difficult journey on their way to being our fur children and were untrained and anxious (particularly with respect to being separated from us). They emerged from Doggie Do Good with more confidence than we have ever seen in most adult dogs, completely obedient of the practical and easily-enforceable commands that they had been taught, and with beautiful personalities that were endemic of the amount of love they had received every day since we dropped them off. After you receive your dogs post-training (at their facility or at your home via their amazing drop-off service), you may expect that your training experience/relationship with a service like this would end. We are thrilled to report that that is not the case with Doggie Do Good. It’s quite the opposite. When your pups finish “camp”, you all become part of the DDG extended family, and the staff and trainers (like Isaac for us) continue to check in with you regularly to see how your dogs are adapting and progressing. Again, you can clearly tell how much love exists with Doggie Do Good because the staff genuinely misses being around your pup(s) after they return them to you.We could not recommend Doggie Do Good more highly, no matter what your dog’s needs might be, and we genuinely cannot wait to have our pups spend more time there (yet another one of their endless perks) if/when we ever need to take an international trip or if a necessity or opportunity arises.

The owner was Mrs. Sandberg and the year was 2009. It cost $2000 to board my medium size Yorkie for 3 weeks and he was supposed to be trained at Doggie Do Good in Arroyo Grande. Your website states Sandy Sandberg is still the owner & that a 21 day camp is guaranteed for the dog's life. When I spoke to Mrs. Sandberg she could care less and didn't try to make things right. The reason I am posting now is because a friend of mine almost signed up for the expensive camp. She also had 2 other people tell her of their poor experiences. I do hope things have changed for the dogs' sake & owner's, too. BTW, my last name has changed since 2009 when my dog was there.

Doggie Do Good is amazing! They have transformed our puppy into a puppy that listens. They have been great training for us and our puppy so that we are able to communicate with him. Thank you, Doggie Do Good!

Bringing our dog Rusty to Doggie Do Good was the best decision we've made! It's been 6 months since he was trained and we've had him home with us. We continue daily to implement the training foundation that was established. We brought Rusty to DDG for quite a few behaviors, and DDG was able to get those behaviors under control. It has been a complete game changer for our daily lives with Rusty. He is well behaved and responsive to our direction. Any time we feel that we need a refresher session to improve on Rusty's training, we meet with Isaac and he helps us with any questions and shows us how to improve on whatever it is we need. Isaac has been amazing, he is an excellent teacher and trainer. Rusty loves Isaac and gets so excited to spend time with him whenever we bring him for review. The lifetime free training 1-hour sessions have been so helpful and encouraging. We recommend Isaac and Doggie Do Good to every dog owner we know, we can't say enough about how life changing it has been for us! Thank you Isaac, and all of the trainers at DDG! We are forever thankful for you.

my doggie Sunny did their training camp for four weeks. I was really impressed with the trainers and how they worked with my dog. I feel good that it also included training sessions in the future if needed. really nice facility, I will bring him back for boarding and training as needed. would recommend to a friend.

My sweet boy Jake is a rescue and came home with some aggression and reactivity. He attended DDG's camp for 3 weeks and made SO much progress in that time. However, the thing that continues to impress me about DDG is their commitment to their dogs. Post-camp Jake has unfortunately been attacked by off-leash dogs more than once, which inevitably sets him back into a reactive cycle. Each time, DDG has quickly set up a private lesson review for him. Isaac specifically has been a miracle worker with him. In under an hour, Isaac gets him from freaking out about even seeing another dog to being able to happily walk along next to another dog. Cannot say enough good things about Isaac and the whole DDG team!

We do not have our service dog yet but I just HAVE to write a review. Destiny is so amazing. She does an AMAZING job running the service dog program. I email her so much and she NEVER seems annoyed and is always happy to answer my questions. We looked at lots of service dog organizations and none of them were like Doggie Do good. We can not wait to add our doggie to the family!

**** please notice their , long, dishonest reply, it’s all word salad. I did not spread any misinformation, and I absolutely only commented on dogs with shock and prong collars-many of them too which is sad they have to hide the tools they use to deceive their audience. The fact that they have to type such a long, ridiculous response, and will not identify the E collar as a shock collar, but give it all these other names and the brand name is designed to mislead clients. Any ethical, certified Trainer does not need tools that cause pain. Please find an educated certified, legitimate trainer. How pathetic that they state the owners like to customize the tools, as a “Trainer “you don’t take orders from the owners, you educate the owners, that’s why trainers are hired. Why not take the humane route training? is it all about a quick fix and money for you? If you have to use these tools to train dogs you are in the wrong industry and more studies come out proving how damaging these tools are and the stress and suppression they cause. These tools are for those who have no education, no skills or don’t yet know better. Again, them blocking someone on social media who asked questions should tell you all you need to know.Noticing on Instagram that almost all of their dogs wear prong and shock collars under bandanas. When I questioned this, and they lied to me in response, I clarified that I could see these tools clearly. They then blocked me. Instead of being able to discuss their inhumane aversive training methods, they simply gaslight their clients and block anyone who questions them. I would highly recommend finding a real certified trainer. No need at all for aversive and abusive tools. Find a trainer who doesn’t hide their methods. I’ve seen first hand how damaging these tools and “balanced” training really are.

Good training facility. Dogs are well taken care of, and staff are professional and friendly. Have taken three of our dogs here, and it's made a world of difference.

The folks at Doggie Do Good are incredibly kind, enthusiastic, professional, and make it clear that they value the dogs health and happiness! Their fun yet professional attitude makes for an overwhelmingly positive and productive environment where care of you and your pupper is evidently a top priority!

The staff are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. My German Shepard was trained by Doggie do Good and I can’t express how pleased I am! Any problems I’ve ever had with his behavior have been due to MY lack of practicing with him. He is an extremely well behaved dog who LOVES the owner of the company. We are frequent hikers and whenever I’m hiking with him I always get compliments on how well behaved he his. I highly recommend Doggie Do Good for your training needs.

I’ve had three different dogs go through DDGs program. Each dog had very different personalities. One super smart ADHD Aussie who was easily stimulated and had a hard time focusing with distractions, one very sweet but strong and dog dominant Labrador, and an eager to please Golden Retriever. DDG did a fabulous job with training them by finding what they were motivated by and their personality. My Golden needed very little correction and was highly motivated by being petted and given praise. My Lab and Aussie had different incentives and needs. DDG was able to work with all three of them based on their individual needs and motivation. Trainers worked with both dogs and individual family members. They made sure we were handling the dogs correctly. This included helping my children use the correct commands and not letting the dogs dominate them. We have been in contact with DDG throughout the lifetime of my dogs and the company has been nothing but helpful. They care very much for all animals.

I have a unique perspective of Doggie Do Good as I am a former employee as well as a client. I have a well rounded view of the company and the wonderful owners. DDG was a fantastic company to work for. Since 2011 I have sent all four of my dogs to training at DDG. Two Bernese Mountain Dogs, a German Shepherd mix, and a Greyhound. DDG did an incredible job with each and every dog. As a result of the training that our dogs received from DDG we are able to travel with our very well behaved dogs. They go to the beach with us, hiking, to restaurants, all because of the training they received at DDG.Over the years I have recommended DDG to many friends and family members and I will continue to do so. I will always send our pups through training at DDG. If you want a professional company full of genuinely wonderful people to train your furry family member, DDG is the place to go.
