Mustang Waterpark is a family fun water park located at Lopez Lake in San Luis Obispo county, just 20 minutes from Pismo Beach. It is a great place to spend the day with kids and grandkids. The park boasts two 600-foot waterslides and the thrilling Stampede half pipe, a larger steep slide. There is a nice smaller kids pool area, described as a great kiddie pool. The park features lots of seating and shade, along with luxury cabanas or bungalows that look great and have servers. A bar & grill, snack bar, and concessions offer reasonably priced food, drinks, snacks, sodas, and beer. Reviews highlight that the staff is wonderful, friendly, and helpful, with safety staff being very helpful. The park and bathrooms are noted as very clean and immaculate. Although it can get busy, wait times for slides are short. Visitors describe having an awesome and amazing time, highly recommending it as a fantastic place and the best water park in a lake camping area. Many plan to return.
Service was so slow we almost bailed, but the slides were a blast once we got going.

We went for my daughter third birthday and the staff were absolutely amazing we rented a cabana for the day they were very attentive to us and what we needed the manager was so sweet to my daughter and had no problem stopping and talking to her everyone wished her a happy birthday and we will definitely be coming back
