“I have had nothing but positive experiences shopping at Mike's Shoes! I shop here for shoes, insoles, and compression socks. I have purchased dressy sandals and pumps, casual shoes, and my comp toe work boots from Mike's Shoes. They sell top quality products at competitive prices. They also have great sales! At my most recent visit, I and my elderly mother were both shopping for shoes. The salesperson assisting us was EXTREMELY helpful, patient, and kind. I am so grateful to have such a nice shoe store with such excellent customer service close to home. I definitely recommend this store to others.”
“I love this company, so happy they have one here in SAN LUIS OBISPO since they closed they one in SF where I just moved from. I had a pair of Great New Balance Shoes that I returned after a week or so since the stitching was coming apart. Great shoes, never had this issue before. They took them back no problem and mailed me a replacement pair Super Fast!! The salesperson was very helpful, just an absolute dear…☺️”
“I work across the freeway in the medical plaza. Needed some new kicks- comfy for work but also FLY... I strolled in at 5 , and Ms LAYLA was all alone and greeted me so warmly. I took my husband here last year, he loved his shoes so I returned . .
Layla was extremely kind, and helped me and another customer EXCEPTIONALLY WELL - carried approx 6 boxes or less and just kept the atmosphere SO fun, even picked out some cute laces for me for a sneaker I wanted to see! As I continued they got busier and I had the pleasure of then meeting ADDY! Ms Addy also, was so professional and kind, and i ended up being handed a pair in 2 different colors !! ( Addy grabbed black without me asking) .. and I went for the black pair. These ladies, rock. Keep them paid and happy. I will be back due to the OUTSTANDING customer service. Ill also send ALL my medical co workers when I show off my shoes tomorrow 😏😎

“I’m going on a cruise and doing lots of walking and I have bad knees. I came in and Eli greeted me right away. He found shoes that are perfect for me. Cute fit and supportive sandals as well. He went above and beyond. I literally will come back just because of Eli!!”

“This place has so much to offer and the service is fantastic. No matter who's working they're always so helpful. I tried on a couple of things today unfortunately didn't work for me. But my girlfriend bought a couple of things off the sale rack so that was good. They have dresses and sweaters, flip-flops things for young children, purses, just about anything you could want. I've bought plenty of gifts and stuff for myself over the years.”
“First off been coming here for about 20 years. The prices are extremely good, especially when on sale. Today I purchased a boy shorts and a Tee shirt size 14 for $11, now how can you beat that. My girlfriend also got a cute outfit for a niece size 8 and some cute sunglasses. We were both happy with our selection. Lots to choose from especially for young children and babies. Only one employee in the store but she was helpful.”

“We had the most fantastic time at the store today, thanks to a great employee.
We did not catch her name but she was so helpful and lovely.
When we came in, we told her my husband's size and she showed us the section with the wide and extra wide shoes. She told us to let her know if we couldn't find his size and she would look in the back. It was no trouble. We thanked her, we started looking, and she disappeared.
We found one pair of shoes, then she appeared out of nowhere with another that she had pulled from the back. They ended up being just what he wanted. He would have gotten the same style he has worn for years but these were much nicer looking and so comfortable. Then we were looking at some others and talking to her, and she whipped another pair out of nowhere that was also his size and also just what he needed for a comfortable dressy but not formal shoe.
She was friendly and kind, and so helpful. It was like having a personal shoe shopper. She was efficient, too, the whole time we were talking she was organizing shoes and working so I was really surprised when she pulled that second pair of shoes out.
After that she went on break and we weren't able to thank her. She was a lovely young woman with long dark hair.
We were impressed with the wide selection, especially of W/XW shoes. The store was clean and there was lots to choose from.
Very happy with the three pairs of shoes we purchased today and thanks again. We will be back!”
