I went to Jung's Auto Repair with a coupon for a discount on my small check. After speaking to the Tech on duty it was pointed out to me that the coupon I had did not include did not include my vehicle because it was a truck. He told me that he could give me $10 off that would put the test between $60-$70. I tried to negotiate a better price which he would not do. Good thing though because after I left I found a complete Smog check for $50 OTD.

My dad has been coming here for years. I never knew this place existed until I had to bring my sister's car in to get a second opinion after her battery died. AAA sent over local roadside assistance where they tried to get her to take her car into their auto shop to change her transmission when all she needed was a battery change. (The same thing happened to me last year, called AAA for a new battery and was told by the local roadside assistance worker I would need to get my transmission changed and took me to the same auto shop. I called my dad before signing the paperwork once I found out how much that service would cost me. He told me to hold off and took my car to Jung's Auto Repair to get a quote for the same service, to find out the car didn't need this to begin with.) I thought it was so nice of the owner here to take a look into this, despite being busy at the time of my visit. He was working hard alone and kindly asked me to pull up for him to quickly tell me that the car was not in need of a transmission change. He was actually a bit confused, given how new the car was (+ low miles) that this would even be a service that we were urged to do. He did not charge me anything, which was shocking, given the auto shop right next door (Star Auto Repair Center) told me it would be $400 for them to check my transmission and said the inspection would take hours for them to complete...basically making it seem like it would require a lot of labor --- when the owner here was able to tell me in less than a minute that the car was fine. Of course, I couldn't leave without giving him something (would have given more, if I carried more cash), but I was soo touched by his genuine service esp. since he had no idea my dad was a regular. TBH, as a female, it's so hard to find an honest auto repair shop, since they know it'll be easy to get more $$$ out of someone who knows nothing about cars but wants to be safe when driving one. PS The reason why I went to the auto shop next door before coming here was because I assumed that was the place my dad was referring to. Jung's Auto Repair was a little hard to find, but is definitely a hidden gem!! =) THANK YOU SO MUCH MR. JUNG!!!!!

Scary atmosphere as a women in your 30s, but this guy is the owner, secretary and repairman. Had me in and out of there in about 30min. Needed cal state brake and light with a smog on salvage car. Prices are all listed on the wall when you walk in so you know what to expect.

Ended up at Jungs Auto Repair by mistake lol I was looking for another shop that had a really good deal but I'm sure glad I stumbled here! He was super quick with the smog inspection and gave me a very competitive price too! Super small shop with other repair shops near by! His shop is right in front! he made the experience painless!
