“This location is layout just like their La Puente store although I'm not sure if they are owned by the same person or is a franchise. Besides beef, seafood, chicken, and pork, the market offers everything you'll need for grilling outdoors, including charcoal, salsas, tortillas, and spices. They even off wagyu from Japan, Australia and tomahawk ribeye's. I've visited this location twice and have taken home USDA prime marinated carne asada and tried their chorizo sausages made specifically for grilling. The butchers and customer service gals here are friendly and accommodating. As for the quality of meats, I was impressed with the packaging, leanest, and the quality of all their proteins. They also offer yummy salsas that taste homemade. The prices are higher but in exchange you'll receive the top-quality cuts of meats and are superior to the grocery store chains. This along with the La Puente store is now my go-to stores for proteins when I'm going to grill. Definitely give them a try, you can thank me later.”
“Wow, great spot, excellent service! Grabbed a few rib eyes which were exceptional, and the marinated garlic shrimp was just outstanding. Prepped it as suggested....pan, butter, squeeze of lime. Highly recommend.”
“Great service. Excellent variety of meats, the dry chorizo is delicious and does not give any bitterness, and the already prepared chicken is also very tasty. Recommended this place”

“Top 5 breakfast burrito in la/oc. I wasn't ready given how boring the signage is ?.
It's not fancy or unique but literally the best breakfast burrito package. If you're a breakfast burrito person you NEED to get this.
Service is solid and ambiance is basically what you expect.
Side note: the salsa is the only weak part. It's a generic chunky salsa with no real flavor. I recommend getting your own to take it to flavor town, but this burrito is RIDICULOUS.”
“They gave me alone while I waited for my niches, everyone is super friendly, especially the lady who works in the kitchen, the most lady, she is a sweetheart, God bless you”
“The best meat in town! They are in many cities too! Ever since I gave it a try I never went back to any other market. You get quality meat, perfect for the carne asadas.”
“Nice little shop with fresh meats and good selection. This place is clean and organized with high quality meats. I prefer this place to other markets because it never has a bad smell and I’ve never seen anything questionable or off here. Highly recommended”
“Nice Store the price are about fifty cents to dollar higher than other store but. It gave me that old feeling which is Good these days other than that I'll be back ?”
“This is my go to spot for meat in South East L.A. They offer exceptional cuts of meat prepared in their delicious marinade at affordable prices. Ranchera is very tender and juicy. Salsa and carnitas are very delicious as well.”
“I was looking for wings, and they were very hard to find. They are now called "party wings." And here I thought they were chicken wings.
Bought them at the butcher shop. Fantastic guy behind the case was great too talk to and he really helped explain about the difference between cooked (smallest and most expensive), frozen (medium sized) and from his shop (largest and cleanest). The farmers are feeding these birds something of bad quality and the wings are full of thick, black veins, and the meat is black. No more wings unless I buy them from the butcher (better quality, still black inside but more edible).”

“After passing by this place quite a few times, thinking it was only a butcher, I finally came to realize they have sandwiches too. However, fair warning, be prepared to take whatever you get to go - there is zero seating, not even a small table in a corner, if you want to eat in.
Decided to try the pastrami - it's their own smoked, thick-sliced, which was pretty good, but if I'm being honest, it was kind of a bit chewy and not near as good as I'd heard. The poblano mustard was a nice, unexpected touch, but quite disappointingly, it was NOT served on a toasted grinder roll, as advertised.
And since it was to go only, I didn't realize until I was later eating that it was plain old marbled bread of some sort - totally different taste and texture than a grinder roll - if they were out, or whatever the reason was, they should've said something before making it - I would have completely passed for that day if I knew it was going to be on bread.
So the service... the two guys working there seem to run the place (one was an owner, I think possibly). The other guy, who finally took my order after passing by me as he was doing other things (I was the only person in the small place) - I finally had to ask if I could order, and he kind of begrudgingly took my order. And it took forever... like close to 20 minutes! I love that they steam the pastrami right then and there, but not sure what took so very long with no one else even there.
The other guy was either the mgr or owner, and was at least a bit more friendly, but seemed completely bothered by my questions about the butcher cuts of meat while I was waiting.
Overall, the sandwich was pretty decent, but not to the level of the many raving reviews here. It was good, even on bread, but the service kind of left a lesser taste in my mouth. Will choose from many other options in the future when I'm around.”

“This local butcher shop is small but mighty! Besides enjoying their beef/chicken asadas, I've really been blown away by their beef cuts. Fresh produce sometimes available such as avocados which were very good too! After reading reviews I will ask about getting a turkey for November this year. Price is fair for the high quality/service. Can't wait to grill up more stuff!!”
“Best meat in town.
Finally they have one close to us!
More locations before I had to drive to bellflower for my meat ?
Excellent customer service and very friendly staff
And the meat for your carne asada the best soft juicy and never dry , La Carniceria the best ?”
“Very good service in all aspects, the meat is fresh and of the best quality, if you like quality you should visit **=Monte Alban=**.It is an establishment where you find everything, from natural juices, bionics, Oaxacan products, groceries, fruits and vegetables, but above all, the most important thing is the good service and kindness of the staff.”
“I highly recommend this place for its fresh meat, top-tier seasoning, and friendly environment. The staff always greets you with a smile and a positive attitude.”
“Outstanding meat quality. The Carne Asada without the pre marinated is great. No fat and I most definitely recommend this Butcher place. It is very expensive, I will pay it for the quality. The other places are very poor quality more quantity than quality.”
“So I placed an order for pick up and my friend went to pick it up for me since I was sick. The order was sent over and done in a matter of minutes and he goes over to pick it up. Well he’s sitting there for longer than normal so I call and speak to Joel to find out what’s going on and he immediately gets working on it. I give him the order number and less than 10 minutes my friend is pulling up in my driveway order in trunk. Lol lol. I had accidentally put the order under his name since he was picking it up but Staters was on it and had him loaded up and back on the return trip home in a matter of seconds. Thank you Stater Bros. you guys and gals are truly the best and a huge shout out to Monica for shopping for me you got everything perfect. Thank you. No mistaking why I shop at Staters!!!”
“Can't say enough good things about the meat. I enjoy dropping in when I am in town
The old fashion root beer is the best too
Kid-friendliness: Absolutely
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“I just stopped by on Google maps. Those reviews here who say Wilch Brothers Market had been here "forever", are true. I would ride my bike across the river from the Island to come here and read comic books while standing by the rack. That was in the early 1960's.”
“Great people deserve great recognition and my respect having all this needed for carne asada is like the best option for a guy like me don't need to send my people to get meat from one place and other things from another. (HEB) Here everything is better including the price .
Unlike other meat markets that require a youtuber for promotion (Cortez)
El paraíso is doing it by only offering good quality service and a smile I thank God for that keep up the good work and positive attitude the rest comes along”
“The produce is great. So is their customer service. I have a allergy to Turkey and every time we go to the deli they have had no problem cleaning off the slicer to make sure there will be no issues. In fact one time one of the ladies recognized me and remembered. Before I got to order she double checking if I was the person who had the allergy. It felt great to know that they are taking note of that kind of issues. Today when I went it one of the cashiers not just remembered me but remembered my name.
Update: This place is fantastic.”
“The old adage "If you want something done right, do it yourself" certainly rings true, especially on a hot day just four days from summer. My wife and I craved a refreshing lunch with a delicious sandwich, chips, and a cucumber & tomato salad. Of course, everything needed to be fresh. We required fresh-cut meats, crisp lettuce, juicy cucumbers, and tomatoes, a dash of vinegar, and our favorite Sun Chips: Harvest Cheddar.
Enter Stater Bros. markets to the rescue! Whether it's for quick, last-minute needs or pre-planned grocery shopping, we can always count on Stater Bros. to have everything we need. Their produce is always top-notch, and the deli meats are perfectly sliced and fresh. Plus, finding our favorite chips is never an issue.
Stater Bros. consistently delivers quality and convenience, making it our go-to grocery store. Thank you, Stater Bros., for always being there when we need you!”
“Gorgeous female in the service ddrli.she is so cute raspy little voice her hair back in a long braid i wish it wad pig tails but either way i got a little crush so weird. Anyways lovebthecstore as well everyones helpful and happy. li.”
“Busy parking lot with restaurants and a gym. Nice, big and clean store with lots of options, a good sushi counter, deli, and bakery. I'm so happy they built this store. I really disliked going to the Ralph's across the street.”
“Not an actual review. Last century we shopped here for groceries (me for comic books, mom for groceries) sometimes on the way back from school.
Nice to see another place from my childhood still standing.”
“I really enjoy purchasing their carne asada meat, in my opinion they have the best seasoned meat in town for a Carne asada. Don't get me started on their burritos. Their burritos are very good. My husband kept ordering back to back, day after day.”
“This review is long overdue. Always quality meat here, really good seasonings. All the men here are very respectful and provide great customer service. They’re very patient and kind. Would highly recommend buying from here.”
“Workers are nice and friendly. My kids even have their own fave cashier they made friends with and always look for her when checking out. They have a good selection of greens for bearded dragons. Chips that are on sale are always stocked! Good fried chicken.”
“The only place to buy groceries. Best meat selections with graded an non graded beef. Cold cuts are my favorite and the garlic bread is to die for on spaghetti night.”
