“Looks smaller from the outside than it actually is. They have a decent selection of older magic and yugioh cards. Awesome comic selection. Older and newer issues. The Asian dude behind the register was saying he’s fairly new to comics but he definitely isn’t new to customer service. A+. He sold me on the sentry comics and even recommended that I give the new avengers a read. The area behind the register is a mess with a bunch of boxes and random figures. Other than that, it’s a cool little spot.”
“Family friendly card game shop in Signal Hill/Long Beach. They have MTG, Pokémon, Lorcana, and all sorts of accessories. They have local tournaments going on through the week as well, making this place a great community for those into the card game hobby.”

“I’ve known Manny, the owner of Playdays Collectibles for a few years, and my experience has always been very positive. I’m not going to lie and say that Manny always has everything I’m looking for, but I can honestly say that I’ve never walked out of Playdays Collectibles empty handed.

“My visit was during the Christmas. The store was clean and still very organized. The team members were knowledgeable (I don't know if they were seasonal or not) despite being busy with guests. Those at the register were very patient with helping the guests and very efficient in moving the line along. There knowledge (and craft ideas) and efficiency is why I've always enjoyed coming to that store.”

Every time I come in they engage in the usually pop culture banter I enjoy when I visit any comic book store. Some stores get annoyed if customers chime in but not these guys. They have a lot of back issues that are well organized and easy to find. Lots of collectibles for sale especially a large choice of action figures.”
“1st time here. Small little Hobby shop stocked with plenty of name brand parts and accessories for your RC needs. Traxxas, Associated and others. The guy behind the counter was nice, got my part and sent me on my way. It looked like he was working on an RC vehicle so maybe they do repairs. I'll definitely be going back. “Their place nearby Disneyland is fantastic! They got nice merchandise, pins AND trading cards to buy from here in the US plus Europe, Hong Kong, Shanghai and mostly Japan. Turns out my friend works there, and she is very sweet, and tne items are so cool, I can get an eye catch on those. I wish Disney gives this place a sponsor as a perk. How cool could that be? Anyway, I enjoy this shop and I am looking forward to go there again.”
“My fascination with magic started at Walt Disney Elementary in Mrs. Arneson’s kindergarten classroom, where she showed our class a coloring book that transformed blank pages into colorful images with a touch of magic. When we begged her to reveal the secret, she told our class that the magic store down the street, Best Magic, was the one place you could find this mind-blowing book.
Every time we drove past the store after school, I would beg my mom to stop, but she would always say, “Nathan, we’ll go next time, we’re too busy today!” Unfortunately, I moved away from Anaheim a few years later, never having gotten my hands on that magical coloring book.
Almost 20 years later, I finally stepped inside the place that had lived in my imagination since kindergarten. Right away, we were greeted by the adorable shop dog, Mr. Wiggles, who seemed just as excited about magic as we were. Michelle kindly showed us around and shared the history of the store, and Kurt—a former employee and magician—performed a few tricks and even showed us ones we could learn ourselves (with enough practice, of course). And yes, I finally got the magic coloring book that amazed me nearly two decades ago!
Best Magic is exactly the kind of place you hope still exists: a welcoming local shop filled with tricks, costumes, makeup, gags, and genuine people who love sharing the art of magic. I would highly recommend Best Magic to anyone who loves the art of magic. The wait was well worth it, and I cannot wait to come back again.”
“This is my all time favorite soccer store! The store itself carries an ambiance of professionalism and uniqueness. They have so much variety, everything from original jerseys to jackets and shoes! This is my go to place when am looking for soccer gear. Their prices are far better than any other nearby soccer stores. They have the best customer service and I can see that they have a strong dedication for their customers. You can really tell that they have a strong passion for sports and really know about the soccer community. They also carry a cool selection of hobby accessories such as plastic and die-cast collectible models. Definitely will be going back, again and again, very soon!”

“I stopped by OG Collectibles in Downey the other day and honestly, it was a really good experience. The shop is clean and well-organized, which makes a big difference when you’re digging through cards. They’ve got a strong mix of stuff: current Pokémon and Magic sets, plenty of sealed product, a decent vintage section, singles in binders, some sports cards, and even a bunch of Funko Pops lined up.
The guy working there (long hair, laid-back vibe) was helpful without being over-the-top. He didn’t hover, but when I asked about a couple specific cards I’ve been looking for, he actually checked the back and came out with them. No pressure to buy, just straightforward. The woman behind the counter was friendly too, answered my questions about grading and pricing without making me feel like a total newbie.
Prices seemed reasonable for the area, nothing crazy inflated like some spots in LA, and better than what I’ve seen online for certain things after fees and shipping. I ended up grabbing a few singles and a booster pack, spent more than I planned but walked out happy with what I got.
It’s a legit, no-nonsense collectibles shop with a chill atmosphere. If you’re in the Downey area and into cards or pops, it’s definitely worth checking out. I’ll probably swing by again next time I’m nearby.

To play it will cost you $5 or purchase something. There is tabletop buildings and more that you can use. But remember to return it once you're done.”

I've always been used to being the person in the room when among friends with by far the most 40k knowledge and familiarity with the universe and more lightly so the hobby, and I was blown away by his breadth of knowledge, his passion as well as his easy attitude and affable personality. My family has been going to this store for twenty years, starting with both of my older brothers, and my cousins, and with staff like this, I don't see any reason for that to change.
I've always been a bit distant from Tabletop due to the difficulty of getting into painting, and he never lacked for suggestions, tips or lessons. Even if all you're interested in is perhaps painting a mini or two for your shelf, or gifting a box for a collector you know, it's a great place to start.”

“Table 1 Gaming is an incredible gem in the Bell Garden community. I have preordered many products from them, ranging from cases and structure decks for Digimon, One Piece, and Riftbound. They have never failed me as a customer. They are always transparent with their clients about and delays if/ and when they occur. If you’ve never preordered from them before, give them a shot! They’re extremely reliable and have incredible prices. But be quick because they sell out FAST. Lastly, shout out to the owner and their staff; they are truly top notch. They care about their players, their customers; their community. Like their motto says; they wanna see you at Table 1 :)
