This is the best auto shop, hands down! My family and friends have been going here for years. I recently moved about 1 hour away, but I still ended up coming here because they are quick, honest, and very well priced.Recently, my car had been squeaky because I need to get my rear brake pads replaced. In the current area I'm located, shops quoted me about $100 more than Kings did! I took my car in around 1pm and got it back around 3pm as well. So grateful for this place!

Very no-nonsense shop, I was in and out in 30 min. I just pulled in and said I called earlier about getting an oil change. He just asked for the keys and if I'd wait for it and that was it. Came back and he handed me the key and led me into the shop to pay, said he also checked the floor and brakes and everything looked good. Overheard him talking to another customer and explained what was up with her car and gave her solid advice instead of trying to upcharge her. Cheaper than it would've been to go to the dealership or a Goodyear. Will definitely come againService: Oil change

I have been coming to Don King's Auto Repair for about 17 years. I can 100% tell you that it's been one of the best things I could have done. Don and his crew are talented, fair and caring. I drive from Las Vegas to have my car serviced, I depend on King's Auto to keep me on the road, Don King is one special guy.

My daughter's car broke down on highway 5 and the tow truck driver towed it to Kings Auto Repair. She called her boyfriend to get her and she continued on her trip. Juan and Ramon diagnosed the problem as the transmission. The car was under warranty and since my daughter was 300 miles away in the Bay Area, I (also hundreds of miles away) arranged for the car to be towed to the dealership. Ramon worked with the tow truck driver to get the car picked up and on its way, and asked for no money for diagnosing the problem, or helping the tow truck driver take the car away. You often hear about mechanics running up the bill for things you don't need. Ramon and Juan are not like that. Thank you gentlemen, for your help. You made a difficult day a lot easier.

I recently got in an accident and looking for a local shop to work with. As flusterred as I was with the accident, I drove to the shop not knowing what to expect, that's when I came across Ray. His demeanor was so relaxed. He was so kind, helpful, and knowledgable. I asked a million questions about the process. How long it would take? What insurance would pay for? How is the payment handled? Whom to pay the deductible to? What if there is any additional damage? He was so patient and explained the entire process to me. I learned that the industry was heavily regulated and the price is pretty much set by the insurance company. The only variable was the quality of the work, I went based on the Yelp reviews. Well, I got my car back today ahead of schedule and the work is amazing. I asked what if the paint starts to fade because I park outdoors? He said, don't worry about it, it comes with a 10yr no fade satisfaction guarantee. They went above and beyond with all the details. After disassembling my bumper, he noticed damage to the headlight. He took pictures and submitted to insurance on my behalf. He worked with suppliers to get OEM parts. Because one light was new and the other about 10yrs old. He had his guys polish the other headlight to make them match at no additional cost. I mean, you just couldn't ask for more. He didn't even have to touch it to be honest. So in conclusion, while you don't walk into a body shop everyday like you do a restaurant, you never know what you're gonna get. I found a hidden gem in Cerritos/Artesia, and I highly recommend. I see people looking for recommendations on Doctors, Chiropractors, or Contractors all the time. Now I can recommend Kings Auto Body as I actually have been there and used their service. FIVE STARS

I've been looking for a very reliable and dependable auto service in the Cerritos/Artesia area. My friend told me about King's Auto Repair. After my Toyota Sequoia was serviced, I said bye bye to Toyota dealership auto service and other shops. Great owner and crew. Very reasonable service fees. I also took our Prius for body repair after an accident. Very satisfied overall. They kept me updated and delivered on time. If you're looking for an honest and affordable auto service shop, this is the place.

I was rear ended on the freeway and took my car to King's Auto Repair and Body shop to make all the repairs. As you can see from the before and after pics, the rear bumper, rear quarter panel, rims and front end of the vehicle look brand new! I'm so happy with the quality of work and communication from the employees. Overall I'm really happy with the whole experience and recommend you go to this shop when you need service or repairs.

A year or so ago I went to Kings for an estimate on changing my starter on my 2006 civic. I usually do my own maintenance but in this case, the work was a little tricky as the starter was tucked way in under the engine. Don's price was at least 200 if not 300 cheaper than another local yelp rated shop that I had visited earlier in the day and he was using OEM parts. I went ahead and had the starter done at Kings was was 100% satisfied. If your looking for an honest mechanic that won't rip you off, go to Kings.

Great honest work. If you're looking to be coddled with friendly customer service, go somewhere else. If you want honest straight-forward service at a fair price, come here. Tried & true for many years. They're always busy.
