She’s great! She gave me a clean facial and even found some ingrown hairs I didn’t know about. I will 100% be coming back in the future!

Mayuri is easily the best eyebrow threading aesthetician I've ever met in my life. Her work is phenomenal and I've been going to her for years.I wish I lived closer to her salon so I could have beautiful brows all of the time. She's singlehandedly the only reason I haven't sold-out to microblading my eyebrows. She doesn't take walk-ins, so please call her in advance to make an appointment instead. She generally has a lot of availability, so book with her ASAP!

Mayuri! is AMAZING at everything she does. She's nice, very professional, and clean. I have been a customer of Roma's beauty parlor since I was a high school student and I am currently now in my 30's. Mayuri has the softest hands and her facials are awesome! I literally fell asleep. If you are thinking on getting a facial or anything done go see Mayuri! :)

After my second appointment for eyebrow threading with Mayuri (2nd time threading ever), I am a believer! I had always plucked my brows and while the result was ok and worked for a while, I wouldn't be able to get all the stubborn hairs or a clean edge. My experience: I was really impressed with how quick and painless she made the process. My brows probably took 7-10 mins and my upper lip was less than 5. Price: She charges $6 for each service. Not only is Mayuri's work excellent but she is very educational too. She informed me that plucking your brows is not a good long term option because this can cause the hair to break, leading to ingrown hairs or inability of the hair to grow back. She also shares her product knowledge with customers and offered to stock a skincare product for me, from a trade show she's going to. You won't get performance and professionalism like this from every brow place. Pro Tip: Call ahead to check her availability and make an appointment bc she is busy!!

I have been a regular customer for a few months and highly recommend this salon. As others mentioned it is not fancy but they provide excellent service. Peter cuts my hair and he is very precise. Cost of cut includes shampoo which is a great deal because other shops charge extra for shampoo. I walk over to Mayuri to get my brows done. She spends more time doing my brows than other salons. My 17 year old daughter gets her brows done while Peter cuts my hair. She is very happy with Mayuri due to her attention to detail.

Went here for the first time and was impressed. Mayuri is very professional, knowledgeable, and informative. She walks you through each beauty treatment so there are no surprises. I was very happy with her waxing, and there was very little pain. The salon is very clean, and serene. Parking is on the street, but in case you can't find a spot, there is parking directly behind the building. Prices are very reasonable, and service is pleasant and professional.

Mayuri and her salon used to be great. Quality work with kind service. I stopped going there because I got a little bit of a snobby vibe from them in the past. I figured I don't have to put up with that, but didn't leave a review and took my business elsewhere. Still, I remembered how she used to be and thought I'd give them another try. Today I called to make an appointment for my mother in law who is visiting. I thought of calling them because I assumed I could count on them to be kind and gentle with her. She is a healthy Indian senior lady. Usually when she visits I get her hair done, threading, waxing, facial, massage, nails etc. a few times over the course of her stay. A little pampering for her. I usually take her to an Indian salon because I assume she'll be more comfortable and that these employees will be friendly with her. I have no problem paying for good service, I don't need any sort of discount, and I'm happy to tip well. Well, the hairdresser refused to see her and said they "don't do seniors." When I talked to the lady making appointments she said she could still do her face waxing, but tried to justify that he couldn't do her hair cut because "she'd have to bend and it will be uncomfortable for both of them." Wow, she is not a special needs customer, she's just elderly (and even if she was special needs, I would hope they would try and give her a decent haircut anyways). I just wanted to be sure they would be friendly to her, it didn't occur to me they would outright refuse service. I guess they only want people in their shop who look like they are young and stylish. And while I am, I will never go to a shop that treats others this way. We all have mothers, grandmothers and mother in laws, and one day we will be old as well. Shame on you for refusing elderly people.

Just came home from a very pleasant afternoon getting my hair cut, colored, highlighted and conditioned by Peter. Although the salon is not luxurious, it is clean and organized..just not fancy--sort of "barber shop" like. But you don't go to the salon for the ambiance; you go for professional hair treatments and services. That's what Peter delivered. He listened to me as I explained what I wanted. And I got what I wanted!! I've been going to a fancy salon on South Street for years and rarely walked out with exactly what I wanted. Now, I've found Peter and I plan to stay with him. He delivered 100%.

So it's been just 2 months that I moved to the US.. and I was badly in need for a good cleanup and threading.. I went to few of the places near Irvine and orange and wasn't happy and then I came across Roma's Beauty Parlor; took an appointment and I am happy to say that it was the best decision that I made.. My husband (an amateur about eyebrow shapes and all) has complemented me more than thrice on my perfectly shaped eyebrows since the day I got it done from Mayuri and the glow that on my face after that relaxing clean up is unbelievable.. I am definitely coming back and would highly recommend this place.

Mayuri is very experienced and talented esthetician. I have been getting facials and eyebrows over a year now. She has tremendous knowledge of her work. She fixes my eyebrows, shapes it perfectly. Always makes me happy!!! What I really admire about her is that she truly cares for her clients needs. Her magical massage during facial time is a must to experience. I highly recommend this place if you want perfect eyebrows and facials. Thanks so much Mayuri!

Mayuri is a very talented aesthetician. I was referred to her by my friend from college, and have been coming here for my eyebrow threading ever since. I highly recommend Mayuri for both men and women's threading. Her work really accentuates the natural shape of one's brows. Totally fixed the previous mess of a shape my last aesthetician left me with, and now I just come by every month for a clean up! She charges around $6 per session, which is pretty fair. Just a head's up, but she's appointment-based only. Be sure to call ahead to book her!
