Goodwill Central Coast is a large, fairly clean store with lots of natural lighting and nice organization. It features a great clothing section and a good selection of shoes, books, and DVDs, which can be found for great deals. Employees are super nice, cool, personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. The store has restrooms available and a new return policy with a receipt. However, there is significant dissatisfaction with prices. Multiple reviews note that prices keep rising, with some items, especially second-hand clothes and shoes, being overpriced or more expensive than new store items. While some prices are fair and appropriate to the economy, with higher quality items priced higher, inconsistency is noted where identical items like candles or kitchenware have different prices. Overall, it is considered a reasonable Goodwill worth visiting, but pricing policies are a common drawback.
Love the store! Bummer that they have started to overprice their shoes. $39.99 is too high for "thrift" or bargain shoes. All donations.. come on people.

They have a good selection on shoes...Bought what looked to be a new heater that didn't turn on... Thank goodness they have a NEW policy 3days to take back w receipt.

Generally rude people...that includes staff and customers. There was only one staff that was polite and helpful. One star. Okay stuff (one star), but when Dollar Tree items are sold for 3 times the original price, it's time to consider going somewhere else.
