Gordons Good Games is a great local game store and community center for tabletop gaming near San Luis Obispo. It is a very welcoming venue with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. The store has a nice variety of inventory, including a modest section for Warhammer, board games, RPG books like D&D, hobby supplies, and card game products like MTG. It features a gaming space in the back for community-run events, tournaments, and clubs, which is a preferred location for Warhammer 40k, AoS, and D&D. A monthly subscription provides access to this space and turns the fee into store credit, supporting both the shop and the player's purchases. It is an inviting, supportive, and accommodating retail space.
