This is about the 5th time USPS has lost our mail. Honestly getting sick of it. Talked to USPS many times at the branch and just get told nothing they can do. They say informed delivery is in Santa Clarita or Bakersfield, it's not. Informed delivery usually shows up same day. I too have had this conversation many times with this branch over and over again. The last two packages I had delivered both ended up at different neighbors houses. Today, I was supposed to have packages delivered but again, ended up at a neighbors house and most likely won't get it back or wait for the neighbors to check their mail. They also left the postal box unlocked (real smooth), and several parcel locker keys always end up in someone else's mailboxes but ours. USPS Atascadero, do you guys see all these bad reviews? Surely you can do much better than this. I don't know what happened but you guys keep messing up and it seriously needs to be fixed.

Marcy is the absolute best! I’ve been in 3 times in the past two weeks. Two visits were for shipping and the other was to help me locate a misplaced parcel. She’s always so kind and helpful. Top notch and not what we’ve all come to “expect” from USPS! Thank you Marcy for making life a little bit easier.

This is the third time the po delivery driver said he try to deliver a package to my house and I have a video of him doing no such thing. His name is Zack Payne and he's a freaking liar. I have a video . If my package is somehow lost, he stole it. Im going to Atascadero pd tomorrow to file a complaint.

Driver hit my mailbox and my neighbors mailbox and I had to drive down to the post office and tell them I had surveillance footage showing it was them. Packages repeatedly lost. Packages repeatedly delivered to my address that are for other house, not even on the same street or with the same number. Pay for signature delivery, they just report that they attempted delivery and make me come down to the store to pick up my package. Last time this happened I went down to the usps store, asked for my package, it was still on the truck so they didn’t have it. Signed up for redelivery, took 2 weeks to redeliver. Absolutely the WORST postal service of any town I’ve ever lived in and I’ve lived in 6 different states. Yet again, another package lost. Tracking shows “left on my porch July 3 5:49 pm”. It’s not here. This is the 6th occurrence in a year that I’ve lived in Atascadero between me and my wife. At this point, I’d rather defund the USPS and pay Amazon $10 more for shipping because at least my packages get here.

Package was supposed to be held at the post office for 15 days, USPS Atascadero sent it back to the sender after 6 days, no package intercept available on international items so It's going all the way back to Hong Kong. Great job.

Every day the delivery gets later
What is happening to our delivery service? 9PM at night? For regular mail 7 plus days for a letter? Honestly the personal inside service is better then the old days maybe because of the internet so forget human service? Sad

I had a package addressed to me at Perry's Parcel service and according to USPS tracking, some moron at this post office gave it to someone over the counter. Definitely not me. I can't understand why they couldn't deliver it to the address on the package.

So I don't know who or what is responsible for the damages to my mail but I do know that tampering with mail is a federal offince just wondering who else this happened too

All of the 1 star reviews are, unfortunately, quite accurate. Even worse: we've had packages containing prescription drugs inexplicably held at this post office for 3 days before being placed in our PO Box. The corner of the package had been torn open, just enough for someone to see inside. Can't prove it was done by the employees here, but it does no good to complain to the manager.

Unbelievable. They constantly put packages at my back door in the dirt or random places OTHER than the covered front porch. Today was the final straw. It’s raining (in the middle of a huge storm) and the blonde female delivery driver put my perishable package on the wet cement in the rain, even after she walked up to my covered porch, but still left the package in the rain!!
I am out of town and beyond mad.
No one ever answers the phone. Seems like the number is now going to a fax machine. This is a poor excuse for a service provider.

Always late delivering. Phone help is a mind jerk of their terrible computer not understanding me. My mail is constantly delivered to my neighbors. Mailmen apparently can’t read addresses.
