First time dealing with a bank here inn America and I can honestly say I will NEVER deal with them again they decided to wire transfere our money with there "own" exchange rate when we requested a dollar transfere not exchange costing us several thousand. They said just call and cancel it but after 35+ minutes waiting on the phone we were told it can only be done inn office. The office respone was its ben over a certain amount of time about 45 minutes so absolutely nothing they could do witch is a blatant lie. Then they tried saying they could do a recall getting the money back at THERE exchange rate costing more this bank is blatant fraud that I will report to my own country to flag.

Worst experience ever if I can give them a 0 I would… just a tip for any one doing wire transfers and exchange rates don’t transfer if they are giving you the banks rate because this branch just did this to me they gave me their exchange rate when the rate was much higher unfortunately I noticed it too late I try calling and citi let me know that only the branch could cancel and when I went to confront them about it they were very arrogant and saying how it was not their problem.

I have been with Citibank since 2006. I opened my account in Santa Cruz,CA where there were too few ATMs and it took a drive to downtown to do autonomous business. Eventually, I moved to Atwater, CA where I found a local branch and a wonderful staff. The manager welcomed my business and transfer of funds. He also aided me in a business loan when business was depressed. The service is good and efficient and accurate. When there was a charge or an overdraft or bank error(rare, very rare), they refunded my money with a credit to my account. I always found the clerks and officers of the bank ready and willing to attend to my concerns and deposits. Since that time, I have moved out of th country and the bank has been right there for me. They have no personal banking in the country of Denmark, but they are willing to accept my deposits and correspondence by mail and chat by phone. Two or three years ago,there was an attempt by a scammer to defraud the bank by bogus check on my account, and Citibank caught the attempt. It was touch and go for a while because I had to reestablish my identity and work closely with the national branch in San Francisco to close the tampered account and open a new one with the proper funds as had been encroached upon. The great news remains that I can count on this bank and the officers and staff. I can still call direct and speak to the manager or have my concerns attended to. So, yes, big 5 stars for a bank that offers statement credits, a big line of credit,online chat and careful digital documentation for taxes,record-keeping, and special offers.

Staff is too slow, only 1 cashier while 2 other employees just stand around. Door maid has communication issues; being to an extend professional but having major attitude and micro-managing control issues. Is this how you teach your staff to behave towards loyal customers CitiBank? If so I'll take my money somewhere else, you robo-calling, unjust account closure, mortgage debt price-fixing, 401(k) fraud, manipulation into global interest rates having mother-fukkers.

1 star too high! Think twice before you bank with these folks. They come up with a reason to not be helpful every visit. Complete incompetence. Staff is lazy, incompetent, rude, not helpful and overall idiots. Customer service generally stinks with citi bank- these people make it worse.

I'm only 19 years old and first opened a bank account at 17 with citibank. They have been an awesome help always willing to go the extra mile to ensure all my needs are met. 5/5 for these guys.
