The Merced animal shelter is a clean and great place to look for animals. The people are courteous and very helpful. They take pride in their work and really care about the animals that they have. If you're looking to foster an animal you are definitely in the right spot. They are very caring people.

Took a stray in because I felt to be scammed on paw patrol, left him for 3 days. did a pre-adoption and after no one came or called about him we finalized the adoption once he was nutered.. Staff was great and helpful..

They have lots of pets for adoption. (Dogs&Cats) I'm rating it 4 stars because when you adopt your fur baby they don't give them a bath before going home with the new family. So your fur baby can have fecal matter on them and smell like urine. Other than that its great.
