Stage Stop Gun Shop & Indoor Range is an 18,800 sq ft sporting goods store that offers a wide range of firearms, archery, and fishing supplies. The store features an indoor shooting range with a pistol and rifle bay, where customers can shoot up to a .308 caliber. They also have rental firearms available and offer training classes for concealed carry and beginners. The store's staff is described as helpful and knowledgeable, though they may not cater to customers who expect to be "held by the hand." However, the staff is willing to assist with specific inquiries, as evidenced by one customer's positive experience in finding hard-to-find ammunition. The indoor range is generally well-received, with one customer noting it as a "nice, clean, and great time." However, some customers have experienced issues, such as the room becoming too hot and the door being blocked by other customers. Overall, Stage Stop Gun Shop & Indoor Range is a well-equipped sporting goods store that offers a range of firearms, archery, and fishing supplies, as well as an indoor shooting range. Customers have praised the staff's helpfulness and the facility's amenities, though some have encountered minor issues during their visits.
If you live in Stanislaus County, I highly recommend you do their CCW courses Initial and or Renewal. Very informative and good service when going to shoot at the range.
