“This is the coolest store!! I forget about it because of its odd location, but every time I end up there I get lost in the treasures and unique gifts and plants. It’s truly a wonderland. If you haven’t been, do yourself a favor and go today!!”
“A special thank you also to Sunset Oaks Framing and Art Gallery who recently spent a significant amount of time and energy researching and putting together this shadow box for Jordan Maurer and his dad, Mike Maurer. The box contains the World War II uniform and medals belonging to Jordan’s grandfather and Mike’s father, Martin Maurer (January 19, 2020 – December 20, 2016). Martin joined the Army in 1940, and quickly moved through the ranks to the Army Air Corps where he was promoted to officer in the 15th Air Force 374th Bomb Squadron stationed in Europe. He bravely served his country leading thirty-five aerial combat missions earning him the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal with four oak leaf clusters and three battle participation stars. Phil at Sunset Oaks did a significant amount of research and made a number of calls to the Auburn Veterans Memorial Hall to determine the appropriate location for the medals and patches on the uniform. A very special piece that will be cherished by the Maurer family for many years.”
“My granddaughter's cat passed away and she was so heart sick about it. I asked Stacey to make a necklace for her with an image of her beloved cat. Stacey put the cat's neme on the back of the necklace for her too and my granddaughter said it helped her remember her cat and how much she loved her. Stacey has made necklaces and earrings for me and they are a lot of fun to wear.”

“Went to visit for the first time today (to see my Stained Glass Artist friend, Sandy) and I loved the location, variety, and quality of artists throughout the gallery! Sandy rang up my order of greeting cards and I plan to bring others into the gallery as well. Great job everyone!”
“A lot of information and great instructions. Only thing missing was a supply sheet, so I may purchase the correct items. It was relaxing and I enjoyed it. Looking forward to my next class.”

“I cannot say enough about the outstanding service and support we received from David at the General Gomez ARTS Center during my father’s celebration of life. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of amazing. David went above and beyond to ensure that our family had access to everything we needed, including tables, equipment, and other resources, which truly helped make the event a memorable and pleasant occasion.”
