I have banked with 1st US for a very long time. Their customer service is outstanding. Once I overpaid on an account, they contacted me and asked if this was my intention. On another instance, I paid my mortgage on time but the mortgage company applied my payment to another lender, 1st US went to bat for me, got my account straightened out, my late charge and late report was removed and I received a letter of apology from the lender, Now come on, this is a 5 star bank*****

I had major issues with Auburn First U.S Credit Union in the last 4-6 months. They treated me and my daughter (whose part of my Trust) condescendingly on several occasions. I decided to close my account and move my money to Bank of America. It's been such a relief to walk in to the Auburn Bank of America and be treated respectfully, efficiently and kindly.

Auburn Branch:Great customer service with a local feel. Some of the tellers even used to greet me by name when I walk in the door. I'm downgrading my rating because they've had a lot of turnover lately and lost a lot of the personal touch that I used to love so much.

Nothing but problems, no 24 hour service, uses 3rd party for bill pay that is hard to reach. Cannot access on line features without changing browser, no solutions offered so I am finally giving up. The staff is lovely but the system is antiquated and worse, they don't seem to care to fix it or even pretend that they will.

Bounced a check .. I had ample amount to cover this check in my other accounts but instead of calling for me to transfer they returned the check. I thought credit unions were all about customer service and personal service. When I was with Wells Fargo they called me in a similar circumstance. I have my mortgage with them and that is a whole other horror story, or I would change in a heartbeat. Looking for personal and community service? don't come here

I just came into this bank for the first time to cash a check from my friend. I don't have an account here and the very friendly teller told me it would be three dollars. She saw the check was only for $70 and it was for babysitting and waive the fee. This was the friendliest bank I have been to in a long time without going overboard offer a new water and coffee and frills.

They know your name. Even when they're busy they say hi and most times bye. Everyone is friendly..I think I will continue doing my banking with them. Haha I've been banking with them ever since a scotty account for my nephew and he's at Cal Poly now, even before then. Long time.

Hope everything stays the same at corporate as far as early deposit of pension checks . You can't imagine how good this makes life!
