Foothills Retro-Modern Motel is a great place to stay in Auburn. The rooms are completely remodeled, clean, and very comfortable with excellent, quiet air conditioning. Guests love the decor and cool vibe, noting terrific furnishings, a form-comfy mattress with no lumps, and a super comfortable bed. The rooms are quiet and close to everything, within walking distance to a bowling alley and restaurants, with convenient highway access. The front desk staff is friendly, helpful, and very nice. The landscape is excellent and there is a great pool on a hot day. The rooms feature clever amenities like an organizer open closet, refrigerator, microwave, ceramic 50’s mugs for free coffee, and a huge TV. It is a great homebase while exploring, and many guests state they will come back for sure.

I loved this motel. Rooms were so clean. Our patio had grass and lead to the pool and to a nearby bowling alley. The retro style was a nice touch to the rooms. Would recommend and would come again.

Only stayed for the weekend due to bowling travel league at the bowling center next door, but the convenience and the room were totally worth the price I paid!
