We weren’t exactly looking forward to car shopping, but after researching our options for about a year, we made a last-minute decision to swing by Gold Rush Subaru. Shane was amazing! He patiently answered our questions, and knowing that we wanted time to think things over, invited us to come back if we decided a purchase was right for us. No pressure and no games. Three days later we did just that. Shane worked with us on a great deal and even arranged a fair price for our trade-in. Thank you to Shane and the team at Gold Rush on making the purchase of our very first Subaru a wonderful experience!

Chris M Service Advisor, Garrett K & Shane G w/sales, and Alex S sales manager are the best team I’ve ever worked with at a car dealership!! I’ve worked with Chris before with my older Subaru Outback. He is so trustworthy, kind, and extremely knowledgeable! He treated me like family which being a woman and having to deal with car issues can be a scary thing but he’s always had my best interest and safety as his priority. It was time to let go of my old Subaru so I worked with the awesome team of Shane and Garrett. They were both so caring knowing I wasn’t expecting to have to get into a new car that day. Garrett showed me more than one model and I decided on the Crosstrek which I’m super happy about! He was so great, a very smooth, no pressure buying experience. Alex the general sales manager closed everything up, it was very easy and comfortable and he explained all of the paperwork I had to sign to me. I’m soooo impressed with everyone at Gold Rush Subaru in Auburn. I will never buy a car anywhere else!

Gold Rush Subaru is an honest and straight forward family owned dealership. This is the 2nd car that we have purchased there, because there's no high pressure technics used. You're treated with respect and honesty. We highly recommend our sales representative, Mike Carlson. We were given a straightforward price to our inquiry, we setup an appointment, met and we're given the exact deal proposed to us. We were treated with dignity, respect and friendship, the way you would hope for.

Shane was fantastic to work with, as someone who used to work in auto sales I can assure that his approach was very professional. I went in to help my sister with the purchase, and I was expecting to go fend off salespeople like it was the automall. He made the process very simple and straight forward. He let us take our time, and didnt seem to be worried leaving us alone to think multiple times.
If you are debating looking at one of their vehicles, and possibly making a purchase i would implore you to ask for his assistance.

I went to the Gold Rush Subaru dealers in Auburn, ca when it was time to buy a new (used) car. They had treated me as family for years with my previous purchase there 8 yrs ago and had provided excellent service ever since. Again, I was treated as family and provided with a very nice option for a used Subaru in peak condition. Mike Carlson provided an easy and quick purchase and Alex the manager was very quick and efficient with the paperwork. I walked out in a short time with what I considered an excellent deal on an excellent car. I would definitely recommend this dealership for anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. Thanks to you all, Mike, Alex, Tim (in parts) and Jim (who sold me my previous vehicle!!!

I’ve bought two cars from this Subaru dealership now, and each time has been genuinely great. It’s a small place, but that’s what I love about it. Everyone treats you like a real person, not just a sale. Jess was awesome and made the whole process easy and smooth. She really listened to what I needed and took care of everything. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

My wife and I purchased a 2025 Ascent from Goldrush Subaru a couple of days ago. It was the best car buying experience we have had in ten years. Every member of the Goldrush team was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. At no point did we feel pressured or rushed to make a decision. We feel that the purchase price, including our trade-in credit, was very fair and competitive. Special thanks to Shane Grauer, our sales rep, who spent an extraordinary amount of time patiently going over all of the wonderful features of the car, including hooking up our phones etc. Justin walked us through the sales contract and add-on options, taking all the time we needed to fully understand the options so we could select the options WE wanted, without any pressure. We also want to recognize Alex, the manager, for his relaxed and welcoming demeanor while we were there. This sales office felt like family and the staff's commitment to customer satisfaction was genuine. We highly recommend this dealership. It was more than worth the drive for us, coming from Sacramento.

I purchased my new Subi last week from Gold Rush Subaru. I worked with Shane and he was so helpful. I live in Nevada and the dealers here did not have the model and color combination I wanted. Shane and the team were able to find it and have it there for me. They were easy to negotiate with on a great deal and excellent financing. I loved the “no pressure” sales approach, very different from past experience at other dealerships.

My family had such a nice experience at the Auburn Subaru. We planned on visiting a few dealerships to see what kind of car we wanted and planned to go with a place that didn’t treat us like a sales transaction. The Auburn Subaru was our first and only stop of the day and we can’t say enough wonderful things about the people we met and the experience we had working with Jess. It was a very family friendly place and one we will be staying with for years to come. Jess was kind, even played with our baby and had snacks for him when he got restless. She was professional and so friendly at the same time. Everyone we met had the same professional yet still family friendly personalities that made us feel like we were working with real people and not just a sales transaction (that was huge for us). Thank you Jess, finance, and the entire team we interacted with that day for a wonderful experience. We appreciate you!
