I do not recommend going to this mechanic shop. They told me it would take two weeks to do which it ended up being four weeks. They are also terrible at communicating. They never called me to give me a follow up.
Not only did I spend close to $4,000 to get my transmission rebuilt but car is having more issues than it did before I brought into them.
My car actually drives worse now and won’t accelerate like it should.
Not to mention, I took my car back in for them to fix the issue and they still didn’t fix it.
They told me to drive it around for a little while to see if things change, which it hasn’t.
I’ve called and left messages and still haven’t received a call back after a week.
They give you a two year warranty, but what good is that gonna do me if they can’t even fix the car the first time.
I also looked under the hood of my car and it looks like they took the hood off and worked on it outside and never covered it during a rain storm. Oh and the AC pressure valve cap was missing.

Traveling with our RV from the Bay Area to Reno, our transmission fluid got hot and our engine cut off. We made it to JRs. Scott at JRs checked our transmission fluid and was super helpful, (not judgy or condescending at all) while educating us and providing valuable advice to get us home. Hayden and the team at JR's Transmissions are masters of their craft. I've had many vehicles over the years and I've dealt with my fair share of shops. We did a full stage 3 build for my '95 F350. there was a small issue and ABS warning light and Hayden told me to bring the truck right back to dial it in. Will be recommending this shop for any transmission work going forward.

I had my transmission (th350 4x4) rebuilt by a different place, and it never did run. So when I went to JR's I was a bit reluctant to be hosed again. But these guys are awesome. They found and installed missing parts, and fixed all that was not done by the last guy! I can not tell you how happy I am with their service, professionalism and just taking good care of me. I would not go anywhere else for future transmission work and neither should you. Thank you JR's

I called 5 different shops and nobody was willing to work on my ‘73 International due to its age. One shop even told me to expect to have it fully rebuilt instead of fixing the leak. Jr’s transmission happily took on the job and got it fixed. Guy working the front counter was helpful and kept in contact. I’d recommend them to anyone needing transmission repair.

Great shop. I have been in the automotive industry for 25 years. These guys did what they said they were going to do for the price they quoted me in a timely fashion. Good honest people. Rare breed these days. No need to look elsewhere.

These guys are gentlemen and professional. They let me leave my car there for 2 weeks while I looked for the right part and went above and beyond through the whole process. I bought my Ram 3500 knowing I would be needing some transmission work and had tried out a couple different places before I found JR's which was unfortunate. It is difficult finding a good reputable transmission shop these days but these guys are great. Saved me thousands from the other shops I checked with first. The truck is driving great now and I will have the piece of mind towing our trailer whenever and wherever we need to. I have a 2015 ram 2500 with 68rfe, they did a stage 2 build, truck shifts and drives a lot smoother and can handle full bolt ons with a tune, great experience overall, no issues, wanted to leave update of my experience for the next person looking for a good shop, I highly recommend thx again!
