I really appreciate the attention and effort provided by the vets here. They're always more than willing to explain things and to ask if you do or don't want to go forward with any treatments. They're very nice with my cat and dog, the spaces are clean, and all staff are friendly from start to finish.

Absolutely horrible service, no care for the animals. We had an appointment and arrival shows between 11:15-11:30.
The lady at the front was nice but that doesn’t mean our pet was seen. We arrived at 11:22 AM and were told our pet can not be seen.
If you care for animals enough to have opened a vet location have a heart and stop being lazy. It doesn’t take long to vaccinate and give a quick little view.
Do not waste your time coming here, just go to a local veterinarian. We came her all the way from West Sacramento due to no appointments in the area. I would rather wait then ever come to vetco again. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PETS STAY AWAY FEOM HERE INDEFINITELY!

Do not take your pet there !!!!
They are lazy , take forever , and don’t give you the medicine your pet is gonna need !
This is the 3 time I had problems with them .
1 time they gave my dog a medication that didn’t work , and didn’t want to see him again for free for giving him something that would actually work .
Second time they saw him , they charged me my eye balls just for a routine check
And this time was the worse one !
They forgot to handle the medicine to the friend that brought him in and called me to tell me , I told them they came back to grab it , and they didn’t give them the pills just the shampoo . When my friend got there they didn’t wanted to give them the medicine cause they wore not the owners of the dog (but I was traveling so I cond not go ) So they called me again to say that the pills were still there ( I live 45 min from the vet) so I said o would come get it when I come back …
When I did they made me pay for the pills they never gave again !!!! So there it goes another 40 dollars for nothing …
Really not responsible , really not caring for the animal just for the money !
If u don’t want to get ripped off don’t go there !

Terrible communication within the staff, you get different information everytime you call and BEWARE or the hidden fees. I took my dog in with high hopes and was sadly disappointed. I will never return and if you care about your pets you won't either.

The staff were very kind and educated us on the whole exam process. We were all very nervous about the visit and possible outcomes but felt at ease once the staff started talking with us and our Raja!

I started coming here last year with my late dog and was impressed with how patient, gentle, and thorough the staff was.When I adopted my current dog, who’s anxious and reactive toward people and other dogs, I was nervous to bring him in but the vet techs have been so helpful and understanding with him! They get him into a room right away and know exactly how to interact with him in order to soothe his anxiety. He’s even gotten to the point where he’s no longer barking at them, which is great!Auburn is a bit of a drive for us but it’s worth it for the peace of mind in knowing that our pup is in great hands. You can tell that the staff truly care about their patients. This is my go-to vet and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a primary care vet for your furry family members.
