“My wife and I came into town, AUBURN, CA again today. We needed to get our dog's nails clipped. Well, she needed to stop in at Save Mart for 1-2 items. She came out with five bags of goodies!!! She had just been in your store yesterday and emptied her wallet!! LOL She is really happy when she shops at your store and I get to reap the rewards, plus play monopoly haha!! It is a pleasure for me to see her smile again after the last few years she's had, and I will continue to support her move to Save Mart. Thank you. P.S...we love your chicken pot pies and your fried chicken...actually she loves everything about your store...I haven't been in there yet...but I will!!!”

“I am handling a trust for my in-laws and had to close one account and create a new trust account. There were some complexities accessing the old account and involved my brother-in-law who lives out of town. We were unsuccessful with getting anywhere with another branch (the folks at that branch didn't know anything and weren't interesting in figuring things out). I decided to stop in at this location. The personal banker I worked with, Ms. Vargas, was extremely competent and helpful. She was extremely good at keeping me updated via email and had a "can-do" attitude. It took a couple of visits to get everything straightened out, but everything worked out in the end. I recommend this branch to anyone considering using this bank.”
“Choose the correct time to carry out transactions for which you need a teller or you'll be standing in line for a long time. I don't remember seeing more than two tellers working at a time in a couple of years, but I have experienced long waits.
In addition, I recently saw that the left ATM machine had some technical problem with a customer. He had to go inside (fortunately, the branch was open) to let the staff know there was a problem. A subsequent customer had an issue with the same ATM. I went inside to ask the staff to put up a sign alerting customers that the ATM was out of order. But the staff I spoke with told me Golden 1's HQ group that deals with the ATMs wouldn't let the local staff put up a sign or disable the ATM or address the problem in any way to prevent potential users from using the same faulty ATM! Unacceptable.
I've reported the issue, but who knows when anything will be done to correct this incomprehensible policy.”
